I don't own a Nikon but I don't think this is in camera cropping. Even though it may sound similar.

The on the spot reach that could be gained without swapping lenses could be helpful for many types of shooting.

Shooting a 100mm lens and cropping after the fact didn't put me further away from a macro subject and help to not disturb it.

Ok so something similar has been asked....

I think for Macro shooters, BIF, and Wildlife this could be extremely useful.

I looked through the Don't Ask List and searched and I don't see this so please excuse me if it's already been asked and pay me no attention...

Nikon cameras have this and while I'm no programmer I'm assuming this a firmware item.

Nikon cameras are able to enter into a DX crop mode on FX camera bodies for extra "reach". Is this even remotely possible/worth the time.

Could be handy for lots of situations on full frame cameras.

Thanks for your time and keep up the awesome work!

well, it helps us to make our reverse engineering work easier.
there were days where i sat 10 hours in front of the computer, so many of the devs do.

this tool might reduce the time we need to analyze code by factor 2 or more.

With what you said, as I said before, I REALLY hope you guys decide to keep future releases to Supporters.

If others want it the least they can do is contribute the $10, otherwise wait for final releases like with ML 2.3
