ok, im no programmer, but what should i look at that code for. What can i see?

I have a 650d also so i think i know how to do. it just dont work on the 50d i think i got it to work first time i tried but never got it to work a second time.

im stuck at 1600×690 in crop mode. cant get higher rez in crop?

mine is the same. cant change the resolution even in crop mode. plz help.  running latest ml build.

im stuck at 16:9 1500×890 (something) i cant get the resolution to change after pressing zoom one time.
anyone know whats the deal?

with entering crop mode, do you mean pressing 1 button on the + (zoom) button once? (you can press it twice)

mine seem stuck at 1538 x 887 something in 16:9 mode. eaven if i change to other aspect ratio while zoomed in?

I press the + and get the first magnification try fiddling with resolution in raw 16:9 or 2.35 but the resolution is always 1500 × 880 ish.

1. am i in the crop mode?
2. why is the resolution always the same?
3. what am i doin wrong? ive heard 50d should do 1980×1020 in crop?

yeah, when adjusting exposure i got some more detail like the 14 bit file from mystic mlv, but that also darkens the entire image more. well then its probably a software thing then. mlv mystic cant do 12bit mlv, ill just have tö hope they update, or fiddle a bit more with the 12bit to suit my workflow.

i just tried 12bit and i notice the hilight recovery is 50% of what it normally is in 14bit. could that be right or am i using the new tool mlvproducer wrong?

12bit mlv producer -> cinemadng-> acr (less things happen on the hilight recovery slder in acr)

14bit mystic mlv -> dng -> acr (more hilight recovery when maxing the slider in acr).

The colour quality looks the same on iso 100 .. BUT...  is the hilights reduction possibilities bit dependant that its noticable betwen 12 and 14 bits?

oh man. that was a 5 hour read with loads of info i dont care about. wish someone would summarise it with magic lantern video raw aspect in mind. practical use, less theorizing.

i often drag the higlights recovery pretty far down. what i have read , the hilights recovery wont be as good? is that the main drawback of 10 vs 14bit?

i also dont ever do white balance, can i still forget setting the right wb in 10 bit raw?

Has there been any comparison of 10 vs 12vs 14 bitdepth mlv rawvideos? How less good is 12vs14? can anyone notice the difference?

im guessing 10bit vs 14bit raw is pretty noticable?

all clips except for the "water scenes" were AMAZING... like a real movie whats the aspectratio?
water scenes had a wierd colour on the water, im guessing you did some wrong post processing there? im pretty sure the poster above is wrong about it being canons colours fault, im guessing you put on a lut that made the water scenes look off? canon colors are the best ever.

- did you use a filter lut? what luts?
- what recording settings? crop mode or no crop mode?
- what mlv to jpeg sequencer did you use to get it into aftereffects for editing?

my summer vaccation bringin my good ol t4i with mlv raw , and my a6300 for some downscaled 6k clips. both cams intercut pretty nicely and each have their pros n cons.

last 2 minutes isnt serious so i recommend only watching the first 3 minutes. can u telka what is canon raw and what is 4k?

been watching mlv raw videos and gh4/g7 videos on youtube and compairing both.

while the gh4/g7 beats mlv raw in resolution i feel gh4/g7 feels very "videoish" (not so cinematic)

is it the canon colours and organic feel of rawvideo that makes this? very hard to put a finger at.

could anyone explain? what do you think.
online everyone sais get the g7 or gh4, and that it owns the 5d3!

after exfat formating the first video was 8 seconds. after that the rest of videos is 5 seconds.

the 1 minute bench say write =28 mb /s read 43.6 mb/s

it dont seem to be a cardproblem?

same card as my 16gb. could it be 32gb is to much space?

ps. the 32gb that only can do 5 secons is running a newer build of ml than the 16 gic card that works? could that be the problem? if so how do i copy the build on my 16gig card over to the 32gb card?

when inputtin 16bit .avi (lossless files) from aftereffects to sony vegas the preview looks good. but upon exporting there is a black crush going on?
i use mpg main concept mp4 file as output and 135 000mbps .

couldnt we make a film about a standard green tennis ball, (or any other standard object) rolliing through the best locations of each country?
that way we could have the best scenes from each location?

got a 32 gig and a 16gig scandisc extreme pro. while the 16gig version can record 10 seconds 1790x690 the 32gb version just records 5 seconds. Thats half the time. same card diffrent sizes :/ any ideas.

2 problems.

1. sometimes the dngs gets fickering . also, 2 when overexposing i get hot pixels here and there in the overexposed (clipped parts). eaven with 2x chroma smoothing.

mostly in clipped whites and black.

i use mlvfs and still get problems with overexposed and underexposded clippin.
what is the revolutionary fix? is there a new update for 650d? if so plz link to it. i want it to work?
