Here is a question: how could you guys get a x1.55 crop on a sensor have physically x1.61 cropped?
That is amazing

Really? I could remove all focus pixels from EOS M2 MLV (mv1080p) files from 14 days ago without any problem. Have you installed focus pixel maps?

interesting...I am using MLV APP v1.8 and I noticed there are many fpm files in the folder. Let me see if these can be installed into the MLV APP

From what I get:
The AF system works well during recording the raw video
by using the settings:
mv 1080p_rewired on (12bit 16:9)
RAW Video on
Sound record on
All the Modules are loaded
with 50mm F1.4 @1.8
Used "crop_rec_4k_mlv_snd_isogain_1x3_presets_EOSM2_2019Jul07.EOSM2103.zip" by Danne

Here is the video: https://youtu.be/tohVR083V5M

However, I found that the camera will dead after record the raw video (Menus are available, but no images on the display. Won't fix by enter into the canon menu and exit)
And screen may froze after enter into the ML menu and exit (only once during my test).
The build is still kind of unstable, some problem like randomly black display or frozen; but a big thanks to you guys, the progress is so far so good

Also I found the focus pixel can not be removed even in the latest MLV APP

GOOD JOB GUYS

I can't wait to test this out.
I lens I got is 17-40 & 50 1.4
Also I have eos m1 in the same time, it is excited to have a compare between these two models since there aren't many video about this.

I fully agree with you, Alpicat.  A resolution ot 2520x1386 would be a dream come true for the 100D which has the same senzor size and resolution as the 700D.  I have been using the 7D at 2520x1200 resolution a lot lately and believe it or not, the 120 pixel larger vertical resolution of this camera, compared to the 100D, makes a huge difference in the overall vision of the video.  A 16:9 vision at 2520x1386 would be so much better ... But I am dreaming again.

I have a question for you.  You mentioned the speed booster for increased view angle with EF-S lenses on APSC-sensor based mirrorless.  Would it be possible to use such speed boosters for the same purpose but with 1,6x crop sensor DSLRs operating in the LifeView (video recording) mode, with full-frame lenses, of course?  If not, why not?  And if yes, are such speed boosters available?  Sorry for the stupid question but I have never used and even seen a speed booster sofar.

For a DSLR, it is not possible to make a "speed booster" because of the "flange distance". Flange Distance is the Distance between the cmos surface and the lens. Because of the mirror less camera have less Flange distance (Because there is no mirror on the way). When putting a DSLR lens on it, there is a long distance in the mid of the cmos and the lens, speed booster is basically adding a convex lens in between to "zoom out" the image field into a approximately APS_C image field. For DSLR, there is no space between the mirror and cmos (Because there is a mirror for viewfinder, you can't put anything in that space or you want to break your camera loll). Have fun with mirrorless camera on video shooting will be the best.

Is there any way to boost 5D2's CF slot speed up to 90m/s? Seems like the 4k recording is about to success, but the slot is dragging all the things slow. By changing the speed of the "Bus speed?" (I have no ideal what is in the camera). I am interested in the "cf_acc.mo" could anyone help me explain what should I change in the "cf_acc.mo"? I will test the value and the result (Hopefully I will not brick my camera lol)
