that file was 14bit regular magic lantern crop footage. not 3x3 720 or mv1080. and not recorded with proxies. so if you run it your dng folder doesn't come out pink? it comes out fine? I'm using resolve to open the dng folder after processing with cr2hdr. yeah the prores 4444 and proxies are good. anyway thanks. just can't seem to find a real good post processing workflow since 10 bit and 12 bit came out. i either get focus pixels and good color or no focus pixels and whack color.

I've tried lots of different things. I've had it set to hacked and gotten MLV files that open fine in mlvfs. I was using that before and it was working. Then it just stopped working when the experimental builds came out. Focus Pixels show up. I used mlvfs through your app and they are gone. Strange.. but I need actual files can't have ghost folders that unmount. So I wanted to use your app but it comes out pink.

I'm on eos m. clicked the plus sign added a file. only see black screen no preview of the mlv file..tried to export it without seeing it and it crashed. maybe because I'm on 10.12.4 sierra?

ok so mlv_dump is already in cr2hdr. good to know. yeah tried the white and black settings you suggested still pink skin. you have an eos m that works fine? I'm using the 2-11 experimental build with h.264 proxie.. but I've been getting this pink skin thing since I've started using cr2hdr. with other builds as well. I have no idea what it is. just really love the 4444 proxies but i need to open the raw folder in davinci to adjust exposure and kick out my own proxies or do an online color correction on the raw material.

eos m firmware 2.0.2. my proxies and 4444 prores come out fine but my raw dng folder always has strange color like neon pink skin. maybe I'm missing an add on? I might not even have mlv_dump I'm on a mac and I don't know what I'm doing lol. I only see it as a windows exe.

love this app. i keep getting pink footage though. do i need to change the black and white level in mlv_dump? sorry I'm a noob just really liking this app and i always get pink footage. using experimental builds. maybe thats why?

mv1080 on eos m filmed with dannes settings with c mount 12.5mm lens. shows that the framing is not centered. also getting purple footage on some clips like the first then regular footage like the second clip. does work though.

so were getting there. i'm seeing a pink cast on my footage at lower resolutions(black level?). strange thing is it seems to work at higher resolutions. but i have c mounts so i can't film at higher resolutions without vignetting. also noticed just like when rbrun got 3x3 720 working the recording area isn't centered. still cool loving the progress:)

is it even possible to use c mounts on cameras with mirrors? i thought the flange distance was way off?

these new builds have h.264 proxy so any developments on mv1080 with that? we need h.264 running to kick the eos m into mv1080 as i understand it..

please have it remove focus pixels:) i wanna try it now. do we really have to wait 2 weeks? and thank you for your work sounds amazing.

Probably have to test it somehow. You need 40MB per second write for it to work on most cameras.

Looks nothing short of amazing. Wish I had a mark iii. Jealous.

open all dailies in resolve. make proxies. name them the same as the original files. edit the proxies in premier. export an xml. open the xml in davinci. theres an option in the menu about using source clips uncheck it then it will use the raw dngs not the proxies. color grade the dngs export another xml back to premier or just render it out from davinci. tons of vids on youtube about this "offline davinci resolve" workflow. at any rate i wouldn't use h.264 ever. other than making a blu ray. thats probably your problem use anything but h.264. use prores instead.

Pretty much tells you everything you need to know. 3x3 is missing on there but look at the 650 d pretty much the same thing. The 1:1 produces the least Moore and aliasing but it's a small sensor size.
