@Thobias -- Have you tried MLVFS with SmartImport2 in AE? Works well on OS X.

Unfortunately it imports only wav, DNG's are basically invisible in explorer for Adobe products.

Please, can someone tell me, how to import to AE or Premiere or even open in PS exported DNG's from MLV files? Because somehow they are corrupted. Exported DNG's from RAW file are ok, but not from MLV. Also MLV sound is not sync, it's cut in the middle. So... NOT OK a guess or just me? I used MlRawViewer 1.3.3 an 1.4.3. for exporting DNG's.

BOT: If you are unable to access command line interface to get persistent error messages you may just use drag-and-drop and record your monitor with a cam in 60 fps and check footage.

Yes, it is Canon 70D.

Most strange thing is, that I was able to open DNG's just fine, until I set ML for my needs (I changed many things, but also tried get it back) and also install Adobe DNG Coverter (which I'm not able to uninstall now, it's not in programs list!). So now I just don't know what to do=(

Same as drag'n'drop... CMD open for 0,5 sec, automatically close and thats it. Nothing happend probably.

General Help Q&A / Few questions about settings

I'm completely new in ML (on Canon 70D) and I already fall in love with it... however. I'm looking for few options:

- when I hit play button from live view, it starts play RAW videos, even when I want to look at last photo that I did after the RAW video (should be somewhere in settings I guess but I cannot find it)
- when I shoot pictures in live view mode, it write crop marks (16:9) automatically to RAW (it's not cropped actually, data are still here, but I need remove crop marks on that pictures in post-edit to get full 3:2 picture)
- after taking a picture mostly I need to check focus of picture so it means that I need hit play button, hit zoom (in ML under "Quick zoom" i set up "Full zoom on AF point") but it would be nice to have preview of picture already zoomed in on AF point. Is it possible somehow? (best would be: 2 sec zoomed in or out, then automatically 2 sec zoomed in or out and then off screen)
- in ML menu I have temperature data in RAW. I know that there is not transfer for Celsius yet, but can I show that data on live view screen?

mlv_dump do nothing. Drag'n'drop MLV on exe and... nothing happend.
MLFVS have offline download links.

It looks that work-flow with RAW videos is more tricky, thank I tough. There is powerful Magic Lantern but no proper tool to get captured material from that?

Thanks, now I know that problem is in exporting, because in ZPS17 I'm able open that DNG normally. I'm on windows, so I guess I'm stucked... raw2dng not accept MLV files, right?

I find another bug (?). I use external mic (Zoom H1-V2) and MLV_sound files are out of sync, randomly cut... I cant even find timecode in that wav files. Is it known?

Point is to get nice feature of reducing pink dots and other graphic glitches and still be able to edit RAW files in Premiere or After Effects. I'm simply not able to export every scenes for final cut. I have to cuts scenes and then apply colour grading. But maybe I just have wrong workflow.

Also there are some pink pixels. I guess it's not MRV problem, but how can I get fix this? Thanks.

1.3.3 of MRV, Windows 10 64bit, CR latest from CC. I tried CR and ZPS 17. All programs are properly licensed. I do not have now any corrupted DNG file, will upload it later.

I cannot open exported DNG files in CameraRaw or any other RAW editor. What I'm doing wrong? Tested on mlv files on Canon 70D. Thanks.

I'm new in ML but already impressed... It is incredible, what can be done with code! Actually it was my final decision to buy Canon 70D because of this piece of software. However I have few questions...

- H.264 bitrate options is disabled, is it permanent?
- 70D SD card write limit is about 41 MB/s, so my 95 MB/s card is useless I guess
- It would be nice, to have for preview image options that show me on display whole picture after take it + after XY seconds, zoom on 100% to AF point. Is it somehow possible to set this automatically or at least allow to zoom picture immediately after taking it? Now I have to take picture, let 2 sec preview, press play, zoom to picture, close preview... Very frustrating.
- Is it possible to have in custom cropmark images (bmp) semitransparency? PNG is not supported I guess.
- Temperature is in RAW units, what should be maximum safe value for 70D? Sometimes I have about 212 RAW units of temperature.
- Is it possible to show actual time in LV?
- Any plans for updates?
