Ok Danne maybe im hard of hearing but i still dont get it.
I understood that if i would found the service tab and mlp it should make 2 more folders and one should be a lut hold....but where do i find MLV_RAW_dng_repack_16bit.txt

Than...i did all the steps u told me and i dont see the services tab. Could my Mac osx version be obsolete for this? Can i open the raw file opening first MLP automator and then dragging the file in?

Ok Danne im am a very newbie about computer staff so for me it is very hard since i dont know anything. I copied the only raw file a did to my mac where i installed all the MLP stuff correctly.
So my raw file in on my mac desktop but if it is necessary i can put it in a folder. Where do i find these Folders u r telling me? Than i have this MLV file on my mac desktop but when i right click on it on the menu there is no MLP as shown in the guide. In the guide it shows that MLP is under the "services" but when i right click i dont find it. It just suggests me to open it with miraViewer or i can choose other.

But where am i supposed to download and add MLV_RAW_dng_repack_16bit.txt ?

I still have the MLV file and i also have the DNGs extracted with CR2HDR. Im trying ill let u know asap thank you.

Danne i have an old Mac with me that should support the MLP ; could u just tell me the exact steps to work those files ? Once i download the MLP i just drag the files and it works? thank you

so then in i got a video recorded with the dual iso option what should i do to edit it on premiere like any other dng file?
I do not understand the reason why if i get the raw file and after i extract all the DNGs once i process them in CR2HDR adobe premiere doesn't read the file and gives me a line of error .

Hi there , im trying to shoot Video in Dual Iso mode. Im a windows User and i read this guide (Tutorial - Guide to using Dual ISO Mode on your Canon 5D Mark III) which was suggested in this thread (Dual ISO - massive dynamic range improvement (dual_iso.mo) ).

While in the post it suggests to extract the DNGs and then use CR2HDR ( thing that i have done but then it doesnt read the files into adobe premiere pro cc ) , in the guide mentioned above it says to use avisynth to split all the A frames to the B frames to create a C frames with obviously no lines. The guide talks about Main.cmq command etc so i think it is written for Mac users and seems to be very simple so i think that i'm complicating things that should be simpler.

So the question is : Which of the 2 ways should i use to get to edit my dual iso videos?
Than: if i should use Avisynth , how can i use it on windows easily? ( it talk about opening a text file and adding command lines which seems to be too complicated to me)

I'm using Dual Iso option in recording and in the first lines of this posts it talks about AVISYNTH...then there is a guide for photo mode and video mode....with photo mode there is no problem...with the video one i get the problem that i illustrated above.
Do i need to use avisynth ( which i don't know how ) or just follow the part that says:

"Postprocessing

- Reference converter: cr2hdr.c (Windows: cr2hdr.exe). It requires dcraw and (optional) exiftool in your executable path (they are in the zip). Drag and drop the CR2 files over cr2hdr.exe.

- For RAW video files: extract the DNGs with any method you like (e.g. raw2dng or mlv_dump), then drag the DNG files over cr2hdr.exe"  ??

Hi there , i got an issue i can't be able to solve. IM A WINDOWS USER.
Im trying to shoot HDR videos and i read on some guides that ones u got the RAW file out of your camera u have to process it with AVISYNTH , here instead i read that i should extract the files ( i use RAWtoCDNG) than drag them into CR2HDR and once processed open them into your editing program.
In the first case i downloaded AVISYNTH but im not able to use it since it doesnt show as a program but as a .dll file.
In the second case once a do everything and i do the CR2HDR process if i drag these output files ( which when i use it in picture mode i dont get any touble) into adobe premiere i get an error.
Also , reading the tutorial given in the beginning of the post , talking about avisynth it talkes about the need to have a "video work folder" which i have no idea what it is.

Is there any solution? am i mistaking during the process? thank you very much for the support

I didnt know the existence . Thank you...is there any other trustworthy program to converte cr2 into dng without going trough lightroom? thanks

Guys i did it and a thank u a lot....now the only problem remain the fact that i havent been able to convert with raw2dng...but i had to go trough lightroom and export everything in dng first

Could it be that the conversion made with lightroom is not the same made with raw2dng? sorry but im not a computer genius .
I read everywhere that people make the conversion with raw2dng but it doesnt work for me...could this be the problem? just wondering...

if i do that it just shows me the folder with the 3 files inside ( cr2hdr , dcraw ,exiftool )

Nothing it tells me that:
cr2hdr is not recognized to be an internal or external command , an executable program or a batch file

I got them in the same folder.
i also put them in the same folder where i got the DNGs

I have been also able to screenshot what happens in the prompt.
Once i drag the DNGs in the propt it says:

[Dual ISO]

hi there .
Im new on the forum and i didn't understand properly the postprocessing workflow for those who use Dual ISO in video mode.
So , once i convert the raw files in DNG i drag these to cr2hdr.exe and i should get the images without the lines . Is that right?
Than in the GUI it says that the cr2hdr.exe needs dcraws as well. What for? and how do i use it? thank you

How comes that those downloads available for most cameras...are not available for the 5d3. For examples on the 5d2 those are all available. That means that he other features have not been developed yet. Thank you

Deaf thank you very muchi but i have seen thai on the mark iii people have other audio features thai i dont see on mine. That's why I was wondering if it was my release of night build...a bug...a module...or other....thank you

Hi there , i'm starting right now to record with my 5D mark III ang i have got the 5D.123 version of magic lantern .
In the audio settings i only have 3 things :
- Speaker volume
- beep test tones
- MLV sound

But i saw in various tutorial many features such as the auto gain and other stuff that unforntunately i don't see in my version and i don't find a solution or tutorial about it.

Is it a bug?
Do i have to install a module i didint? ( even thou all modules look charged )
