If you would check check more videos posted here, a lot are art like and not just ""technical test". Once you make a non-technical clip based on RAW you wont back to H264.

Thanx for your comments Well, I had to use 2.8 due to obligatoriness to use lowes ISO as possible. For some reason in 6D RAW noise raising very quick with higher ISO. Also using 2.8 makes less focus on some lines, so this's kind of way to minimize antiliasing, doesn't help much tho

Atmoshperic and very  filmic! No idea how did you manage film so free inside in airport. I would never dare do so by myself.
To kill aliasing uou should really go for the VAF then or change to 5d3.

FPS override doesn't work on 6D either with mlvrec in crop mode. If you set it to 2fps it still records as 24fps.

Bringing your thread to top again, since you looks like only one person worldwide (if didn't sell 6d yet) who owns both cameras and VAF
So the question is regarding to very short time raw recording. Write speed is obvious issue, but if you will compare like 5-10 seconds clips recorded with 6F+VAF (1792x) and 5d3 (1920x) would you say it worth go for 5d3? Do these false rainbow color patterns gone with 6DVAF in raw video? Ungraded flat shots arent that bad and rainbow isnt visible even w/o vaf sometimes, but after grading all those pattern pops up and ruin the look.

Vimeo recomends non main concept for better conversion

Nice shots But more aggressive grading would be even better.

Or just mlv_dump, raw2cdng doesnt support vertical stripes fix yet.

Probably you should switch from Rawanizer (not updated for a long time now) to mlv_dump or raw2cdng.

What are you talking about? 6D raw crop mode works just fine, I don't see any artifacts in this video

and as author said, all closeups were done in crop mode. And def this is no 900x600 resolution in my eyes.

This is 24p, it looks so bad because of your shaky hands. but very high detailed raw frames. Try to pan with fluid head and you'll see the diffrence.

ps: just in case enable fps override option to 24 exact fps.

I know the topic is old, but didn't find any solution here how to get rid off from dead pixels when using low light FPS override. At least it still exists in last tragic builds (4 april) for 6D. And you can't remove them using cs2x2.
Any solution?
