Many thanks! I use Lexar USB 3 car reader.

This is from using the KB 1000X 64Gb cards (which I now have 6 of):

3. No
4. No
5. Yes, I routinely record at 1920X1290 on my 5D3 which requires 99Mb/Sec and it just works.

I would also urge you NOT to use a Lexar reader, I heard KB cards have issues with that reader. Instead consider purchasing a Kingston reader which works 100% with KB.

Does the 64GB 1050x cards do the following?

1) Consistently surpass 67MB/s write  on your EOS body & card reader transfers?
2) Consistently surpass 105MB/s read on your EOS body & card reader transfers?
3) Have you returned any Komputerbay card?
4) When receiving the returns did they break also?
5) Any chance it can surpass 90MB/s read/writes on your EOS body & card reader transfers? 90MB/s read/writes are what my Photofast 533x Plus cards can do.

I need to ask this as my order will land within the US and will be hand carried to the Philippines by a buddy.

Your feedback is most valuable as I have noticed that ML users have a significantly higher end requirement than I do so if it is up to standards for all ML users then it is more than useful to me. My primary use would be stills at the high-speed continuous drive mode of 6-12fps.

I will be using the card on a stock 7D, 5D2, 5D3, 1D4 and 1DX with a Lexar® Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader attached to Macs with 10.9.x and 10.8.x

Are CFast cards compatible with CompactFlash devices?

From what I've read here it seems that UDMA7 compatibility is a mess. The Lexars are supposed to have issues with Komputerbay cards. Komputerbay recommends Kingston unless you have 1050x cards for which the Transcend RDF8 (firmware upgrade necessary?) seems to work well but that same reader is said to cause corruption with some of the older KB cards.

Sounds like a PITA. Ideally I would just stick to transcend cards and readers since those have never let me down. Too bad they are still almost 2X the price of the KB cards.

It would be nice to have a sticky with compatible cards and readers.

Thanks for mentioning compatibility problems with the Lexar USB 3 card readers and Komputerbay cards. I have two Lexars and I do not see my migrating to yet another memory card reader again.

Has anyone used the following 128GB CompactFlash Memory Cards from RiData/RiTek? My sole experience with this brand is with their blank CDs and DVDs.

I learned about these really "low" cost memory cards from another forum when I asked about 128GB CF cards selling for under $200.

Not buying from them as it means import duties charges if I ship em to where I am currently at and I have found the local distributor.

Robgalbraith.com benchmarked the RiData 600x cards performing within a permissible range. I would assume the 1000x, 800x and 400x will be as consistent, hopefully.

- Just want to get end-user feedback for this sub-$200 128GB CompactFlash memory card from actual owners.
- Yes, I know the maxim of not "putting all your eggs in one basket". Same was said back in 2003 when 128MB (Megabyte) memory cards were $100 and 1GB cards were $1,000.
- Not spamming forums. I just want end-user feedback. There are no reviews on RiData's 400x, 800x or 1000x lines of CompactFlash memory cards.
