Yummy! Sounds good! If I only could find a way to get my Angenieux Retro focus working on 3x crop mode. The crop factor is a pain in the ass to work with.

May I ask... What is the crop factor?

About 4.8. :D

Works properly with eos M. 3x crop covers 1/2" lens. I love to use my 8-48mm f1.0 lens with eos m. :) No vignette.

I would recommend Eos M. Extremely low price (200 €) and record 720p raw.  But it also has pink dots, but why it takes long time removing these?  2000 frames and around 2-4 minutes. Nos so long time.

Eos m has no flip flop screen aka turnable screen, it is fixed.  :(

I know that canon cameras has hdr video function. But unfortunately fast moves creates "ghosting". So is it possible to make hdr video by changing shutter speed every  frame? It should not create ghosting.

My English is not so great, hope you understand. :)

Write Raw in Cf card and h264 in sd card? :) but I think that cpu is not powerful to  do both at the same time.

I have been playing with ML few weeks. Sometimes shutterbug appears, sometimes don't. I dont know why. Also I found another bug. When using Manual lens (c mount lens) with 3x crop mode, The record button don't work. I have to change to half sutter button then the shutter button works.? Any idea why it do that?

Here's my little test using 8-48mm f1.0  (it is fast) with 3x crop mode. Eos M is little beast!  ;D http://youtu.be/vBa0BmG6z04
Iso 400 and shutter 1/50 almost all shot in f1.0

General Help Q&A / Re: Eos M Change mode?

you make those changes in the camera picture mode, not the movie mode. turn the dial on the top back to picture mode, the middle setting. then press the info button on the back bottom to get to a Canon screen. That info button cycles thru 3 Canon screens and one ML screen. Then tap the top left area on the Canon screen display to get to those things you want to change.

Thanks it worked. :)

January 12, 2014, 02:12:33 PM
Hi! When I am using magic lantern I can't change mode (p,m,tv etc.)  Also I can't see the change button. How I change these?

Thanks for answering. I'm using latest Nightly build.

However, I just discovered the H.264 recording at 3X zoom. And wow! This feature alone makes this release worth a million bucks.
How you make it?  Video? :)
