My Canon 50D is also hacked with ML though I didn't use it this time because the battery only lasts for less than an hour. I used a device which I built. It also controls the motorized dolly where my 50D was mounted. Anyways, here are the pictures in timelapse format. I hope you'll enjoy it! :)

This was shot evening of July 17 here in McHenry County, IL. It took close to 2.5 hours and 742 pictures. I would love to find an open field here and do the same. Looks like my device is ready!

Though not ML since I couldn't find the compact flash that has ML, I just used an external intervalometer. It's a short timelapse.

General Help Q&A / Take shots but not via shutter
« on: November 05, 2014, 09:01:16 AM »
Does ML have a feature where we can take pictures without having to increase the shutter count on a Canon 50D? If so, where can I find the instructions on how to do it?

Thanks in advance!

Please watch it in Original resolution. Choose Original which is above the 1080p selection. I brought out my controller outside and I'm glad the battery worked very well.

Later folks!

I'm still waiting for the Canon cable that I will connect to the shutter port. The led indicator is connected to the 4n35 which triggers the shutter at a very very very low voltage. Once I received cable, I will connect to that same chip.

General Help Q&A / Built-in intervalometer and Arduino
« on: September 06, 2013, 06:51:24 PM »
Hey guys,

Is there a way for our Canon camera to send out a signal to Arduino when a shot has been made? The reason I'm asking is because I would like to build a camera slider. Once the Arduino receives the signal, Arduino will execute a code that will move the stepper motor.

Thanks!
