Well, like you said it
Kinda, under perfectly controllable case scenarios and specific resolutions should be ok.
Real world scenarios not so much

how many frames can be done on t4i, with 1728 wide and aspect ratio of 2.39? the calculation says 41 mb/s. thanks.

Assuming the same aspect ratio for both you can just divide 1920 by the width of the recording then multiply that by the crop factor of the sensor, MKII Full Frame would be 1920/1880 * 1.0 = 1.02 crop etc...
Quote from: prabhath.mp on October 29, 2013, 09:55:31 PMNo no, 60D has only 21MB/s SD controller. 650D for example will be much better. It beats 1280x720 continious easily. I have one and i'm shooting at 1536x640 usually.
I was considering 60D...

Anyone have any success doing slow motion with 550D?
I tried doing 60fps override, but I only got 24fps. I used "exact fps" method. Only 24fps was captured. boo.

Rewind, have we been successful? Last time I tried this a month ago, I couldnt get the output to convert. Every time I recorded something and tried to convert it, I got the message "this is not interlaced ISO" or something along those lines.
I'd be interested in testing it again.

I think it should be mentioned that setting the image quality to jpeg allows you to record more frames (as the buffer size is bigger) on some cameras (for instance 7D).
