yes, it is not your raw2cdng tool as the location for the buzz/corruption on the wav file is the same even if I extract using mlvbrowsesharp.

On the mkIII IIRC that it does not work with EXACT FRAMERATE. Try LOW LIGHT in the fps override submenu. I don't have a mkIII but I recalled mentioning this issue back then, though I was testing the v 123 on someone's else's mkIII.

using the May 14 and previous nightlies for the 5D2 I sometimes get an "overloaded buzz like static" in my wav files. They are quite random and I can't pin down a pattern.
At first, I thought they are only in the first recorded file after a card was formatted but recently they just pop out at random.
I also first thought that the "buzzing" static will appear only once per clip and only near the beginning but a recent shoot shows it will appear anywhere and sometimes it will happen several times per clip.
The video or the dngs have no problems.

Here's a sample waveform of a clip around 34sec long to show where it happens. This was using only the internal mic of the 5d2.





Out of 42 clips, 17 clips have this buzzing static.
I don't get this issue in h264 recording, only from wavs using mlv.

tested the latest beta5. 42 clips totalling 8+ minutes.

In resolve when I use autosync based on timecode some wav files will link with the wrong video files.
This will be indicated by wavforms with wrong displays, showing blank spaces.

Aligning them manually and the wav files are ok.

with 7D you have sound with raw video. 50D does not.

But... you have a 5D mk II... couldn't you just load ML on a smaller card and then save your files to the Komputerbay?

the mkII only has one CF slot.

i have a 128GB 1000x Card from kumputerbay as well , ive had it for 4 months and never used it , simply because ML Doesnt work on Cards bigger than 64GB ....i have never tested it on raw since i never got to so i cant anything about that .

ML works with 128gig. There were early versions of KB 128 that had issues not bootable with ML but they have fixed that. Going to their site you will see the cards compatible with ML and those indicated as not compatible.

I have been using a 128 1050x on my mkII for while now and while its a teeny bit slower than 64gig 1000x in read time, it is BOTH bootable/compatible with ML and it can handle raw video.

With May 8 Nightly, pink tinted frames still result with Black Fix at ON. To those trying out the May 8th Nightly, Turn OFF to prevent Pink tinted video.

Its recommended you do the nightlies. Its not yet perfect but you can help in reporting bugs and issues.

5d2 suggested level 1700

If there is still a cast in the blacks, the black level is not correctly set.

It may be 1750, or 1650, or some other value that is close to 1700.

1750 to 1800 seems to do it in my case.

I have the same problem. If I auto sync the audio the first audio file is used in every single clip. And even when I manually change the audio in the timeline, or in the mediapool it either has no audio or it still has that first audio file. Has anyone found a solution yet?

what version of Raw2Cdng are you using?

TURN OFF BLACK FIX.  This is causing the pink tint videos on the 5D2. This is found in RAW Video sub menu. I've already mentioned this to devs. Seems like its ON by default.

In addition to what africashot said, if you want improved speed without changing your computer, I bought a usb3 PCIe card that I added into my old PC. Not as fast as USB 3 slot built into the MB but better than plugging a USB3 cf reader onto a usb 2 port.

While updating to new nightly builds I noticed what I thought was a bug, the way I "usually" update was just to download the nightly and copy paste only the autoexec.bin and the ml folder over to my cf card containing the previous builds, however I realized that some previous settings caused what I thought was a "bug". I deleted all the files inside the settings folder in ML after copy pasting the new nightlies and the "bug" was gone.

Maybe you should also try deleting the files in your settings folder.

yes. use the "view" to playback. I'm not sure if its the same with 5d3 but on 5d2, when playback is starting, I can press the trash bin button to show more options for playback. fast or color, exit, and delete etc.

Where can I download an older version on RAW2DNG? I use After Effects CS4...
