Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to put this info, but with today's build I was able to get 741 frames at 1880x940 and stable until my card filled up at 1880x854.

5d2 with a 16gb lexar 1000x

I would try landscape with sharpness at maximum, instead of focus peaking

Hey guys, maybe this was covered somewhere else, but I can't find this topic anywhere. 

I wanted to hear your thoughts on what Picture Style are you guys using to shoot RAW.  I am having a difficult time trying to get the raw images as close as I can to what I'm seeing in the monitor of my 5d2.  I know color is not an issue since this is the main reason we are all celebrating RAW thanks to the ML team.  But even with the histogram, I want to expose in every aspect as close as I can to my RAW files while shooting. 

I am currently shooting on Portrait, it might be the closest I get in RAW.

I added deleting... files get "deleted", file name left but file is 0KB. The playback is working great tho.

what was the point of that loop and creating a dummy file? There are no file chunks. or is that for 3.7gb?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I am kind of lost here.  These changes where do they go? the next nightly build?  are these new features talked about in this thread included in the next build? or do we have to put them manually?

Yeah, but you can pretty much start editing right away with R3D files.  I can play 4k clips real in time on Premiere.    This actually a good idea.  No clue if its possible though.

Getting the full 4gb limit with 1880 x 840 using a Lexar 1000x card with no problem using today's (21 of May) build.

how many frames was it in previous build for you?

I don't have the exact number but if I remember correctly it was almost immediately.  Now is a little bit over 8 seconds.

This is with your lexar 1000x ? 

oops, sorry.  Forgot to mention that.  Yes, I have a Lexar 1000x 16gb card.  Also, I was getting weird abrupt color shifts before this build, that seems to be OK now.  Must do more testing to corroborate.

I tried it, and it seems to be letting me record without dropping frames on 1880x840.... only problem is that I can't unlock the files using raw2dng for mac.  Not even 2 second RAW files.

I got this error
Error: API version mismatch: -2147483629

and this one when I went down to 1880x720
Error: This ain't a lv_rec RAW file

Hey Gang,

5d2+Lexar 1000x user. 

I accidentally had my shutter down to 40 in the canon menu.  All the files recorded at 40 did not opened in the MAC converter.  I went back to 50 shutter speed and everything seemed fine.

I'll try to do some test at different shutter speeds tonight.  Had anyone else experienced this?

I am almost exclusively shooting 1880x720 for no now.

The new module is the shit.

Beep should be on/off for now I guess turn off beeps.

My write appears to be lower, dunno if its calculated better but despite the numbers it appears way more stable.
