i like use this option  when i taking astrophotos and stack image...this Ghost Image technique give me way to tracking Stars with OUT motor tripod...pls guys dont remove it :/

i remember on one of my tests same stuff.. not FONT files found..

that was only  cus i put on card files with ML but  in wrong way..i copy wrong folders..
all files was inside but there was one folder to many ( i thing i create it and later i jsut copy all this on card.. its only matter of chec kdouble files what u put on card.. i thign

So when I install ML with 600D-102.fir on my card, it becomes bootable, right?

  u dont need switch ML Off  for make way to use only Canon setings .. i prefere to have MagicLantern always and everywhere..i knwo aboute this what u saying but i dont like off ML     ,,  i prefere t okeep it ON always 

Iknow people with fantastic studios that don't do much in them.

yes u perfectly right on this.. so many of them .. peoples mostly folow thing how BOX look not what is inside..
so  mostly its just studio sign make those peoples ``professional`` but work is simple nothing special with realy zero exitment..

but in these days everyone can get sound studio ..how long  he got money ...so in these days we got Hordes of Proffesionals all around youtube and everywhere..

check this...Adobe AfterEffects... in days when this  soft is so popular and eazy to acces .. it hard to know who doing Gratework with Video or stil lframes and wh ojust read turtorial and he just reapiting some steps  and he geting same effect..this is realy lame ..

with this way its hard to knwo who isRealy Pro and who just read turtorial with steps 1.2.3.4.5 how to use it to have some type ofeffect..

look on big productions movie.. they not looks very similar ? for  me yes..im very sensitive on details...in these days big movie productions are more for show hpw many special FX we can use.. or how good quality of frmaes  they got.. but never more movies are abotue story ..only abotue fx..

example of movie ? i dont wanna here adverting soemtihng what is top lame in my opinion but.. Lastest Conan movie.. like for me its one big joke not movie.its looks like beveryhills 90210

lets back to past..when peoples making  First edition of Conan..with Arnold ... this movie is not abotue Special FX.. ( not only because in that dayzs FX was o nanother `level` ) only cus this movie got story  ..its cool box and product in side have more value than box..

Not all was shot using ML. 3x Canon cameras (5D Mark II, 40D, 650D), 1x home made manual camera dolly, 1x home made motorized camera dolly, 4 days on location, over 24 000 photos, over month of editing, 1 week of composing and recording music. It is second chapter from our little series (we did summer this year as well). ML was used only on 5D Mark II.

u can try Clean Canon Setings and go to Deflaut.. of course if Clearing Setings mean Deflaut Setings.. after this  ur Canon soudl go backto  normal

I usually install 2.3 version then replace autoexec.bin using nightly buildg.

i dont wanna to be only one who have something to say aboute bad sidez of this production...

its like mostly happend in all videos these days..

in midle end of movie is medium ok but first miuntes in  This MusicMovie are simple not synhronize sound  and frames..

ok they are cus peoples move alot  so some moves  are looks liek they are synhro..but im not realy sure if it was done in purpose..

this is Music Video so it need to be Muche More Dynamic..

u use Adobe premiere ? or more detailed.. u use track for video and music what is limited ?

what i mean by limited... u can move single track in your video edytor by Frames or by Miliseconds ? ..

this i mean..

scenes where peoples dancing.. you use there music what u later use for editing ?...or they dancing to music what is not same track waht u use in editing  ? if yes it can be simple now to synhro..
But if u use another music for dancers while u recording and another music track when u editing it only bring  more troubles than helps..

but problem is  none buttons are respond when it shoting..its like frezed all camera buttons  but still taking shots..

but i got it with all intervalometers ..in remote neewer tool it happend to..

ok but ill double check it again..i try to make little biger steps betwean single shot..

now i mostly use 1 second i will try switch itto biger value..cus maybe when it is on 1 second i got only 1 second for use Malcolm or Francis method and camera is to slow or my finger not precise..

u can alosw use automaticly setings in Still shot..make shot with low iso keep not more than 800 ..remember what setings use ur camera in FullAuto mode and use same setings in video.. look if nozie is same..
noize is defenetly NOT from ML ...

alsow becarefull on what light u use... if u got regular lame light ball ..remember.. it give u Yelow light with extream fast flashing what your eyes  never detect...so flashing lame lightball and yelow light..and u got shit picture full of weird stuff on..

The raw files from Canon cameras is only 10bit so editing in 32bit or 48bit is serious overkill. 16bit is plenty even for heavy editing. 8bit is fine even for most simple editing or nondestructive editing like layer masks and adjustment layers in photoshop.

i not convert tha file to 48 bit cus i like to have one..in that day i just use converter and i select on 16 bit tif .. i was not sean there option like 48 bit  .. before this idont even know there are 48 bit tifs possible :DD ..

now i jsut messing with all this advices from u guys..

i set it on let say.. 1 second Jitter , Start after 18 second , StopAfter Disable..

A friend of mine shot this on a550 D with ML.

first thing.. i like u not forgot  aboute Sound in Video good.and its synhro mostly )
but i thing for this video i will use 60 frames persecond..and  720p ( or  1080p / 60 if  your camera supproting it )
i will use  more frames..its 30 ? .
u use some editing with sound for this is better to havemore frames persecond.. so 60.. it will looks muche more smoth with more frames.. alsow fast moving object  with more frames will look muche more smoth with out  `GHOST` ..
try to not use Frame Bleading  .. with more frames it can give cool results..all object will move with same speed but u wil lthing hey are little slower cus more frames and no GHOSTING...
try it i knwo its not alot just few words

Sorry, this wasn't supposed to go against you in a personal way. Actually, I don't disagree at all. If you don't read manuals but find out how to do everything by yourself, that's ok. It's not my style, but everybody has their own methods.
I meant that someone (like the guys at canonrumors.com) who has massive problems with ML should have read the instructions first and checked each setting before complaining about it. Many people have been using ML and had no problems of this kind. If such errors occur, it's probably just the user's error because he was to lazy to learn proper usage of ML.
And even if there was no user error, reporting the bug here and letting the experienced developers solve it instead of complaining in an unrelated forum, can actually help making the firmware better and more stable in the future.

i remember my first Camera .. Zenith :DD with OUT manual :DD,, that was reallly fun .. and first shots... what seting to this ..what seting to that.. why this ``stiupid`` analog dont listen  to me :DD ... why why  :DDD..
u knwo what happend after this.. after visit in kodak print shop i look on my photos and lol...all 36 frames are :DD dead ..

ML need manual with BIG RED Warning....this is NOT toy for play with..this is advanced controler what can do alot..
so if u want open Black Hole Gate with Magic Lantern prepare for Magnietic Disturbrances ( what are natural part of black hole`s )what  ``can kill`` your space ship
but if u use super ability of ML like hunting light with intervalumeter and stacking and u set it good (manual) u can fly in side black hole with out any demage..

that  dng converter its exactly same stuff what iwas talk aboute..i was sean one same window with same options ..but icant remember  where i open it lol ..
but this converter is enuf ,, but it cant save 32 bit tif ,, last night  i open first time RAW 6.0 or 6.sometinhg. in PS.. .. its so similar to Canon software but not same..
this what i was thing of abotue open RAW`s in layers and make same changes what i can do in single image are not possible or i dont knwo ..yet... way.
ican open single RAW in PS and i can in flexible way switchng  opened windows and add new Tiff layers fomr RAW to separatd project in PS so in this way i doing sometihng similar what iwas like to do ..little longer way but  THX GUYS !!!!!!!!!

Lightroom is ok but i was lookin soem software where ican doo all things in one opened program..PS and that Converter ( or that converter what can change bits to 48 bit LOL  ) are grate..

i got 8 gb ram now but i got lame Hdd..its only 5400 rpm or something.. this is not big problem now but i thing of CS6. that verion supporting lastest RAW ..hmm..is more flexible..

i just check one thnig and will be cool to have there ..

i mean ML and Movie setings .HDR video have `only` 2 steps for iso A and B . when iso switch there is jump in light..its cool but jump is not cool..
its just idea ..but will be cool to have some 15 or more is better steps there..with more precise iso changing . max jump in iso lets say some 50 or less 1.0 .. for make better smoth light changing..
is sounds sensable and will be very usefull itihng.. icant wright all these programs so i just drop and idea

or add option what will control fade when sensor detect light changing ..so this jump will be some type of Light Fade ..from 0.0 iso ( i mean value to switch ) to 100 (max switch value ) and all this action lets say in 1.1 second ..  will be cool to have another option to control fade speed..

I think that Adobe forces old users like you to use dng converter, since camera raw 7 si not compatible with older version of photoshop than cs6

yes yes ., i `love` this connection  in software makers with hardware makers ..where software makers make  new soft but it will be able ( i dont mean here use ) to instal it when ugot lastest hardware ..
so what is minimum for cs6 ? 32 gb ram or more ? ..with cs4 its i thing 2gb and  up ..all lower and instaler will not allowed u to move forvard with instalation

i was read just moment ago aboute dng convertion in adobe ..(not sure that was PS or PRemiere or or )
im nto realy after looking for some another converter btu i will check that DNG ..

this what now i can get from CR2 file its :

- full resolution file
- 350 DPI (i tihng i can go muche more up )
- uncompressed TIF
- with regular sRGB
- and what is little wierd 48 BIT colours deep


im not sure if i not asking to muche from RAW aka cr2 file..

its my first conncact with RAW and this i was knew its i can make RAW shot and after this i can change all single seting what i was have in my camera but after shoting..
even sutter speed...

maybe i want to muche from this not guilty RAW..or just RAW its nothing powierfull thing i was thing of it.

my point was to use RAW liek regular jpg or Tiff or PSD or whatever another format what i can put into Layer window and just use lets say 4(RAW) shots and manipulate them like i was manipulated camera before i was push Shoting button on canon..
maybe this what i trying to made here is just impossible..

Update Adobe Camera Raw. That should add support for your camera.

i was thing of use another software..like corel or something .. or i invest in raw update ..

Maybe you can find a download for an older version that supports the T3i and CS4.

im not realy sure where and in what software iwas sean stuff what your Quote Perfectly remind me of it ..i was sean  in window option what asked me how compabilty RAW i wish to be after conterssion..that was RAW 7 or someting..but that option was last..lower iwas have some 5 or 7 another verison of RAW file ..in that moment i jsut pick lastes RAW ..7.. but i was able to pick muche mcuhe more RAW versions..

i asked cus im not able to open CR2 file on photoshop ,,just not supporting tihs format what is weird..i can open HDR images (on Canon Software ) but this what my canon 3ti saving its not compatiblile with my PS CS4..
i can convert cr2 to tiff or whatever but what is reason of making HDR when im not able edit file stright.only after coverting..

so now  when i use HDR bracketing i just need convert everything to Jpg or tiff..liek for me this is no sense..

i dont want sounds no sense but i like to say aboute this :

maybe it possible for u guys add thing what will Save  32bit Tiff file after taking HDR Bracketing shots ?
so after i take lets say 4 diferente exposure shots and ML will save it in TIFF file so when i open it in Photoshop or some another layer editing software i will see Tiff  file with 4 layers what i just take with HDR Bracketing..

i say aboteu this cus i was read sometihng abotue some Experimental RAW files..
