nice now the conversion of dual iso dng files work.

i have one question a.d.:

when i see my magicraw converted dng files (from a raw file) in the folder, i can preview that file with the space bar.. (mac preview)
after the conversion of the dual iso dng with your tool (i can see that it renames to CR2 and then again to dng) there is no preview in the finder anymore..?
is this because of the conversion? why do i lose the preview?

hi great.
i can see some white static pixels on your video..
try to do the following:

turn the cam on,
with a lens on your cam - go into the canon menu and into manual mirror sensor cleaning. then you can hear the mirror flipping up. put the cam onto the table and wait for 10 seconds.. turn the cam off (you can hear the mirror flip again) finished.
voila - your screen should have no wrong pixel anymore.

for your footage: try the following.. in acr you can manually remove such pixel problems.. there is a tool up in the tool menu. try to make the tool smaller and remove those pixels..

today i shot a dual iso raw video. after converting the files with rawmagic to dng files they are unprocessed with both isos - perhaps rawmagic can implement those file types in the future.. ?

i have now noticed that when i use the mac gui 1.2 cr2hdr i get an error message: the file type is not supported..

another question:
is it possible to implement an option to mark dual iso raw videos with a prefix DUAL like dualiso photos...
that would be really handy because i have shot so many small video files, some with dualiso, others not at the same day..

i wanna create clips which are recorded with ml raw. and with regard to the raw dng data which is comming out of my canon 5d mk3 3 i don´t know which format is the best for rendering the videos out with no loss of quality?
prores 422? or prores 4444?

lower the resolution and increase the fps

especially on the canon 5dmk3

or is it limited to an internal sync? eg. 4x the speed (96fps) with half the resolution (eg 960x644)for really slow motion shots.. or only a few seconds with the full res?

if you compare the dngs you will see that the wb and some black intensity looks different..
perhaps its just me but the son of a batch dng looks more neutral/correct)

i have not corrected anything in cameraraw.. just compared the images with no settings applied..

when i compare son of a batch dngs and magic lantern raw 1.2 dngs the dng looks really different. like there is not so much black information in yours.
the tiff option looks really bad with my raw file.

is it also possible to enable the halfshutter 10x zoom when record in raw.. (at the same time)
have tried it but with no success. that would be great. because when there is a moving object you lose focus within a moment when using a fast lens.


but all in all taking photos with manual lenses is indeed so much faster with that 10x halfshutter...

i like the new lv digic peaking: slightly sharper.
great addition for people who film.. and make photos with manual lenses..

so is it possible that you increase the resolution for the magic zoom too?
that would be so great because now it is so hard to decide if its focused correctly or not.
(in addition it would be great to make it possible to disable the focus confirmation cause when there is eg a splitscreen on a small sized box it is hard to see the object.)

when i am in liveview and i zoom without recording i have a great x5 and x10 resolution..
if you could manage to make that possible for magic zoom it would be a great feature.

i´m sorry alex.

i just recorded a dual iso enabled video raw file with the latest audionaut 5dmk3 build , then converted it with son of a batch onto my mac 10.8.4
then i had a directory with all the dng files onto my main hdd. with a vmware windows 7 machine i copied all the files into my desktop into a cr2 directory and then i selected those files (10 of them) and dragged them onto the latest cr2hrd.exe file..
with the cr2 photos it works..

tried to convert some video dngs (son of a batch) in vmware windows 7 with the latest cr2hrd but got an error..
so what can i do now?

black subtrackt didn´t work
bright dark detection didnt work
iso blending didnt work..

can someone please post a link to a working conversion version for raw video, cause i can not make it work.. with that one i have.. and i can only find the newest one in the first post.
