I just released the Export LUT Lightroom plugin, which exports develop presets and settings as a LUT in IRIDAS/Adobe .cube format. If you try it, let me know how it works (or doesn't).

Will it export the camera profile settings too to the LUT? Often times the film look LR presets have a different colour representation loaded into camera profile.

What does it do? Is it like the interleaved HDR frames of yore? I'm just not familiar with HDR in the context of MLV.

Andy could you do a step by step for the Xrite or a similar colour tool to help us understand how to use it in MLV? I've tried many times and it comes out shitty.

That or basic white balance and export as Cinelog-C then re-import the files and apply the LUTs. I often find myself skipping Cinelog-C when it's only a few clips and going right from BMD Film to Hunter's LUT. Not terribly fast but this is a good product... well, both are.

I wish I could get realtime playback! I have an early 2013 iMac loaded to the max and I have to use node rendering to work quickly.

Does this have the proper matrices and calibration that Andy600 uses with Cinelog? It's way easier and faster than MLVFS I'm sorry to say! Good job buddy.

I have another issue that's popped up. 1.2.3, Aug 7 build. When the MLVs split into m01, m02, etc the audio jumps around - when I render it using either MLVFS or MLRawViewer the audio jumps around in the file and loses sync, replaying parts of it. Tough to explain. Does anyone know what I mean? I'll upload a sample if required.

Quick question - I am seeing a bit of funky pinkish/green bending in certain areas, basically in high contrast areas where you would have some Chromatic Aberrations with a typical photo. Not at all prevalent unless pixel peeping, but wanted to mention it none the less. Could the experts have a look see and let me know whether this is typical/expected or not? 5D3, with the new 16-35 F4L lens, using 100/1600 iso setting.

Throw it out the window it's broken and you don't know how to read first posts and basically any post in this thread.

A bit compressed by the website I posted it to, but with proper light, lenses, and focus, raw becomes secondary if you have broadcast 422 and know your way around shooting flat and postproduction.

I ended up shooting flat on the NB and using that footage over the raw. It looks as good because I lit properly, shot with Zeiss glass in the sweet spot, and the spokeswoman was a knockout.

Today I use the Blade in conjunction with MLV for the first time on a commercial. Hoping for the best!
