I apologize but I do not quite understand the color idea.  I know some people get annoyed with new guys asking what might be silly questions that have been answered elsewhere.  If so I would be glad to read or is this in the "manual?"

Anyway also thoughts on types of cards would help.

Which resolution and frame rate do you use?
Try a lower resolution.

But if the card is to slow it will just stop recording.

Hi all,

Well installed ML, using a 64 gig card.  All ok but when I start the raw video I get "early stop, a number (it changes), then this is a bug, report it."

Any help would be appreciated.

update.  maybe it is my card 64 gig 10 30mb/s  I think it needs to be faster right?

These are the pink dots, but the compression made them green.
Also have a look at the release date and the link in the video description; you can see it is made with a very old version of the PinkDotRemover which removed only the big dots in the middle.

Say, I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of how to use the PinkDotRemover.  Thanks in advance.

I already have a solution, I've re-created raw2dng using the Adobe DNG SDK. Since Adobe created the DNG format its best practice to use what they give you. dcraw seems to ignore some meta-data and misinterprets the raw data causing that green mesh. My raw2dng will include a host of extra features including compression.

Say I noticed on another instructional video that one can use QuickTime to recompile the video after post processing.  Anyone here do that?  Seems really simple and more options than Virtual Dub.

I think ML can be loaded on the 64.  It just takes a different approach.  There is a video on the web about this (putting ML on a 64 gig SD card).  I have been traveling so I have not had time to do this.  When I get a sec I will do this a post a method if someone else has not done this in the mean time.

The process only works on my 16GB and 32GB cards. For my 64GB card I had to do different.

Sorry for all of the posts in a row.  I see that some have had problems with the 64 gig card.  I was going to try this today.  Don't really see why it would not work.   Utube has an example and the only different right now for us is how the fir file is copied to the card.   Thoughts?

Pps. I got the t4i for various reasons.  Could have gotten the t5i, but following the discussions on this and me being a rebel so to speak I got thet4i.  We are talking real time and have not put it through its paces.  But I see  work is on for the t5i by our most overworked developer.  The t4i is history, so we must really support the efforts here.

Ok been using ml on my t2i , now to give on to my son who has a rebel pre ml.  So after years never thought about updates untill exploring for the t4i.  Wow upgraded the t2i, sniff looks great, if we can get the t4i there wow 2. 

I have been involved in many situations with developers.  Different products but have learned that they are special and here too.

Whew, been through all pages.  Quick question.  Is there or is there not a problem with shooting raw pics in terms of aspect ratios.  It seemed someone had a problem with this.

Any help on this would be great.
