Hi there,
I like to use dottune AF to micro adjust my lenses and lately with the newest builds I am facing the issue where when I use dottune AF with the suggested chart I get an issue where the the tests shows all white bars from -40 to 40. It doesn't seem like it's working when all the points are spot on

Note that this is with SOME lenses... does that mean that lens was perfect? No way right? How do I fix this?

Can anyone give me advice on how to do it efficiently on a weaker computer? This is because I am travelling, and my desktop is at home.

I know with ML I can get change the bitrate of h264, but how do I do it to achieve the highest quality h264?
My CF card speed is Lexar 1000x 32GB.

Is there any portable LED light that does this? I will be using it attached to the hotshoe of my DSLR.

Right now I have a full frame with a 40mm 2.8 STM (my widest lens) for video.

I am looking to buy a WIDER lens for video and photography, but am stuck between:
17-40mm F4
35mm F1.4

Which one should I choose? I know that the wider the lens, the greater the depth of field which is good for videos. But the 35mm is just so good for photography...

Theres a bunch of methods to post-process, and I have a project coming up that will involve me taking many scenes with 5-20 seconds of footage each, which means I will have to look at lots of scenes individually for color grading/fixing.

What's the optimal workflow to approach this?

What's the best alternative? I don't think you can use the ProRes codec on Windows machines.

I do the usual, RAW2DNG, Camera Raw, move to AE as image sequence, and export.

AE seems to do it frame by frame, and since I am recording at 1280x720 at 60FPS, it takes hella long for only a 30 second clip... I'm pretty sure its not my computer (i7 2600k, 560TI GPU). Anyone have advice for optimizing/minimizing time for the post-processing process to getting the videos ready for timeline?

I plan to have many "clips" and moving them to AE individually to render would take quite a while.

Tried looking everywhere for these answers:

Suppose I had a 32GB 1000x card. How much footage am I able to record via:
1) 1280x720 P Raw 60 FPS
2) 1920x1080 P Raw 24 FPS (Does bit matter? 14 bit?)

Hey guys, I own a 5D3 and a 70-200mm IS II lens. Since a steadicam merlin won't handle the weight of this and that I don't really want to wear a vest, do you guys have any suggestions for handheld techniques using such equipment? I'm not doing any professional work, it's more of a casual thing but I want to get the best picture possible. I want to be able to:

1) Horizontal pan - Should be easy...
2) Vertical pan - Should be easy...
3) Spiral movement around a person - Tried this with an object and kept losing position and trouble with focus...
4) Follow someone - Trouble with focus... is the key here to stay at the same distance to the person constantly?

I know focus problems can be fixed with high aperture (f/11+), is that okay to do so if I record RAW so that I can increase the exposure in post?
