Currently i have no M3 in my hands - can someone help me out with a question:

I want to film with 60fps RAW with the M3 and a Komputerbay 64GB 1000x CF card.
How big (resolution) can i go? I just need about 10 second takes...

In movie mode RAW, 160 = 200 = 250.

Digital gain only affects the preview.

OK - So it makes no difference if i choose 160 or 200 or 250 (of course correctly exposed - ettr) ?

What do you people think.
In 5DM2 RAW mode: does it make sense to go for negative digital gain (-0,3 for example)?
And should i film in 100 or 160 ISO steps?

Can anybody give me a hint where i can find a tool for osx 10.8 to convert the MLV format to dng and sound. I really looked everywhere in this forum but couldn´t find a working solution...

First I thing I noticed is that the white framing box is a little to the left. The left side of the white border disappears in to the end of the LCD, but is visible on the right side.

Finally, I made a new version of the Mac installer which I've tested on 10.7 and 10.9. I'm hoping it will work ok on 10.8 also. Anyone on an earlier OS X release than 10.9 that had troubles earlier, please try it out to see if you have more luck.

I think you probably would be able to get it working ok on 10.8.5 by building from source following the steps here (assuming you have XCode & the command line compiler):

on 10.9 it works like a charm, but my super-power-machine runs 10.8 and i don´t want to upgrade this machine (to many glitches on 10.9)

Thanks for the info, I created a pull request. Your are right it was very easy, assuming I updated everything I needed to.

can you upload the files for 5DM2? maybe for this build: 2013-10-24 (for me this is the best in stability and performance)

Is it possible to make more aspect ratios on ML RAW hacks for us anamorphic shooters?
If so ... this would be nice:

1280x1080 (for 1920x1080, 16:9)
1280x817 (for 1920x817, 2.35:1)
1280x800 (for 1920x800, 2.40:1)

These are for anamorphic factor 1,5x.

If you open the DNG sequence via Bridge in AE, then you will get that option.

14, you can´t control this parameter. (you can shoot in h264 - 8bit)

bah, i knew i was out of the loop a bit because i kept getting a "fonts missing" message.

Nice one! With the 2013-10-04 version i got: 77.8MB/s on my 5DM2 with KB 1000x 64GB.
(in crop mode 79,6MB/s)

Benchmark in Playback:

turn on camera, then press info till screen is off (black) then run benchmark, should say Playback, not video or photo

because the benchmark results are too slow ... ? aren`t faster cards faster in terms of transfering to the computer / copying files?
i saw way better results on the 64gb 1000x komputerbay card
