Hi,
I have the iPad Air. I have a Canon 60d camera. I use Pinnacle Studio on my iPad to edit all my videos. I am able to import the Canon video files directly into my iPad with out having to convert the files first. I would like to avoid the conversion phase. For the most part this work. But because the video format is slightly different there are some glitches. Is there anything in ML such as using a certain bit rate that will make the files iPad compatible? Or any other option in ML that would work.

Hi all,
I have been looking into the device called Camranger. There is a very detailed video on YouTube called something like digital camera dinner or something like that. Check it out. From what I read so far the device has no firmware in the device itself. All the software/ firmware is in the iPad app software. Any chance you guys could Develop your own iPad app for camranger. If so then I will probably buy camranger over iUSBport camera.

I thought I saw a message a little bit ago about a version 2.4.  Is there a 2.4 version out yet? I only see on the ML website version 2.3.

Loving ML on my Canon 60D. It is really awesome! Keep up the good work.

These are the features I use every day...

White balance
ISO
Shutter Speed
Aperture amount
Overall Audio gain
Left and right audio gain control

I don't know what the following feature is called so I will describe it...
Take for example the Exposure menu.
If you select a setting such as shutter speed and then hit the set button this is displayed on screen with a blue background and white letters. where I can make quick adjustments or rotate to a different setting in a particular menu. This is great so far. 
What I would like to see is a way maybe in a preference menu or something else where I could combine or add just the functions as described above to one menu that I can rotate around and quickly access my most used settings. Right now if I want to adjust the audio gain I have to go all the way back to the audio menu hit set make adjustments then go back to the expo menu to adjust the exposure setting taking way to much time. I know that I can access the volume controls by pressing one of the other keys but this is just not very convenient. For one I still have to go between functions which is hard and combersome. If I could just rotate a dial around through one menu list for all needs necessary functions described above this would be awesome. :-) and using the onscreen rotating menus as already done is very easy to use I love this function. Except as stated earlier that I can't access the audio function menu in the same menu list as the Expo menu. This is a much need feature and I believe this would solve the quick audio adjustment problem that everyone is asking for. Also I would prefer the reverse of what is implemented now which is having the top smaller dial on my Canon 60D control the menu section and the bigger dial control the adjustment of the selected item such as ISO setting.  Let me know if you need anymore information to clarify what I am talking about. In conclusion, I really feel this would make things quick and easy to use. Also there are some functions in the for mentioned menus that I really don't use but I have to scroll through these anyway.

I have the Canon 60D.
I just got back from my third in a row shooting trip. First to prefece this update i have to say i love, love, love, love Quick Zoom. :-) I am getting pretty used to using the features in ML and how to get to features I use most, quickly. The features I use the most are the following....
manual modes...
ISO, shutter speed, white balance, appurture, maybe a few other settings.
I don't know the exact name of the following feature so I will try my best to describe it....
Ok, I first enter the ML menus.  Then Expo (Exposure setting menu). Then let's say I select ISO for example and press SET. This pops me back to LV mode with just the ISO setting displayed on the screen witch is white letters on a blue background. I can either make changes to the ISO amount by rotating one of the click wheels or cycle around to the other mode/item in the selected menu which for this example is the Exposure menu. I like  this one because the Letters are a litte bigger and the color scheme, white on blue is easy for me to see. Easier to read than looking at the setting displayed at the bottom of the view screen.
Now, in this mode described above Quick Zoom does not work. I would love, love if Quick Zoom would work in this settings mode. Right now I have to hit the menu button to disable the above settings "Quick Zoom" and then go into the menus and hit SET to activate the setting again. ;Just to many steps.
What I love about Quick Zoom is that the camera goes into Quick Zoom just by rotating the focus ring and by not having to press the zoom button on the camera makes everything so much faster and just a joy to use. Thank you for adding Quick Zoom to ML my most used Feature.

Hi,
I have the canon 60D.
I read that there is a way when I am in one of the photo modes to quickly jump to the video mode. Does the feature shortcut exist in the current 2.3 firmware.. If yes, how do I use it. If no, can this feature be added back into the firmware.  On the 60d "M" photo mode is at one end or the 60D's dial and the Video mode is at the complete other end.

auto color balance setting in click wheel. The only way I can get back to auto WB is to go through the camera's Canon firmware menus.  Adding this to the click wheel as one more setting I feel is quicker and easier to use.

Hi all,
I am also new to ML. I have the Canon 60D  i also donated to the cause. I tried to install ML about a year ago but got to scared hearing stories that ML could destroy my Camera and could not figure out how to make my cards bootable.  Now ML works great and it was easy to install thank to a video I was told about on YouTube over on the DV Information Network Forums.
Here is my feature request....

config file in camera's PROM/RAM so if I make changes while using one card installed I don't have to spend time making changes to my other cards.

P.S. I love ML so far :-) keep up the good work.

I usually frequent the DV Information Network Forums. Great guys over there.
I have been doing video on and off for about 6 years now. I shoot mostly sports outdoor videos. A lot of tennis video match recording and individually slow motion video to show client there strokes. One has to start somewhere and I started out shooting with a Panasonic Palm Camcorder. I then advanced to the Sony FX-7 HDV video camera. On the photo side I have the Canon 10D a nice Still Camera. About a year ago I purchased the Canon 60D. A much, much improvment over the 10D. I love the live view modes. I am current on a plane coming back from the US Open tennis tournament. And recently was at the Monterey Reunion auto Races. Trying out the latest 2.3 ML Firmware. Man is it good. I even monitored the sound and made my own cable from the video composite cable that came with the Canon 60D. I am also working on a Merlin style stabilizer partly from designs that are on YouTube.  I did make my own Blimp that works quite well. You do need an extension adapter to rase the blimp up a bit on my Canon 60D. I have the NGT2 Shotgun mic. The one with an AA battery to power the mic so it is quite long.
