It is black until you press play, then the movie will preview in camera.

Yes, I knew that. I usually shoot hundreds videos files... all will have a black previews. This is not usable.

Sometimes I do not need to record the sound. But I always need quick preview..

How can I disable black frames in H264.proxy?

Video preview in Play mode is black, because first frame is black :-(

Can you just download the latest mlv_dump from experimental page (not sure if it's the same tho): https://builds.magiclantern.fm/jenkins/job/crop_rec_4k/19/artifact/modules/mlv_rec/mlv_dump.exe

and replace it with the mlv_dump that's inside the package content within MLRV?

Sorry wish I could be more of help in here but hopefully a Windows user will come on board and confirm this.

MlRawViewer (windows version) does not contains mlv_dump.exe.

I used H.264 proxy (H264->SD with ML; RAW 1920x1080 12-bit->CF)

Magic Yoom Large TL 3>1, Waveform small, Red Crossout, DIGIC peaking: Slightly sharper, Zoom with old button..

The mirror is stuck on to an opaque piece of plastic, with only a hole in the middle, so could work for 3x crop maybe

Replace mirror probably require disassemble all camera

Camera EOS C300 has three internal ND filters:

ND 0.6 – 2-stop reduction
ND 1.2 – 4-stop reduction
ND 1.8 – 6-stop reduction

This is better than screw and unscrew ND Variable filter on lens after each change of luminance (filming in the dark church/sunny garden before church).

I use my 5D Mark III mainly on video. Why not use dark ND filter instead reflex mirror? 


Would be possible control reflex mirror in video mode? (flip-up/flip-down)

If yes - some company could be create ND filter (like "Mosaic Opto-Electronics, Inc." creates VAF filters)

It will be great for record some resolution unsupported by ML.
E.g.: use supported resolution 5796x3870 25p for record UHD (3840x2160) 25p.

Space is very limited when I record to RAW video.
Zip archivator runable after record (from menu) will be great

Exported *.dng have alway fixed size 2,97 MB (Full HD 10bpp converted to 12bpp).
When I use Adobe DNG Converter 9.8 to exported files, new size is only +-1,5 MB.
Is it possible use more effective Adobe DNG Converter in this tool?

Is it right? Where is BD for second and third color? (R-G-B)

Many HDMI monitors have 1:1 view (pixel per pixel) but most of them can display only center of view. Scroll display is not possible.

Is it possible add feature "Shift HDMI output" to "Arrow/SET shortcuts" for display optional part of view in center of HDMI output?

Do you see some real danger of damage camera 650D after use current build (19.11.) for 1 hour continuously  10-bit RAW recording?

I have more than 1TB *.RAW videos with *.MRX files.
How can I trim all files? (I set input and output for most videos in MlRawViewer.)

left and righ frames could be converted to one panorama.

ML-DIGIC peaking does not work with Lilliput :-(

This has another functions:
"Sligthly sharper" = OFF
"Edge image" = monochrome view
"Edge + chroma" = view with watery colors

These views are not sharpe. Unfortunately, these views are not related to picture style.

Sony CLM-V55 and his copy Viltrox DC-50 has delay 4 frames from 24fps.

My monitor Lilliput 5D-II has delay 3 frames from 25fps (Canon 5d2 with ML: RAW recording).
