Thanks for your feedback guys, I'll post up another draft which'll further work on the scrolling problem.

I have full permission from the typographic design of the typeface "Orbitron" as i already asked for permission for its use :)

What would people think of doing it this way? :)

Thanks for your input Scrax! I'm still new to the forum so I wasn't sure where to find things like that. It's still a very early draft, but I have permission from the Typeface Designer who created "Orbitron" and he said it's cool to use if on the GUI if it'd work.

I'm taking inspiration from the Iron Man GUI's, but I do understand how it might effect legibility. As I said I only spent 20 minutes on it so far, but was wondering if people were interested :) I wasn't trying to take anyone's thunder from the other thread!

Thanks Ilguercio :) Still so much more to improve, but I feel as a designer I could help to make it look like Iron Man or more futuristic, without taking up too much resources :P

Who'd be interested in making Magic Latern look like this?
This is an extreme extreme draft, without icons.

Hello everyone,

I've made a great contact with a friend who's made a typeface which could really make Magic Lantern even sexier.
Could I please be put in contact with people in charge of it's GUI?

I was thinking of using this Typeface "Orbitron" created by Matt McInerney, to use as headlines for each section as well as help the GUI developers to make it more like the Canon Menu, but better. :)

I'm a designer/photographer/motion graphics artist and I LOVE what Magic Lantern is doing, so I want to try and help it look even more pro.
