I am working with a new client who uses .MLV I was able to figure out how to covert it to .dng via RAWMagic.
When I brought, what I thought was all of the clips, into Premiere only the first clip had been converted. Looking back through all of the footage the one that converted was the only one that had .MLV as the extension. The rest of the files say they are MLV, but the extensions show up as .M01 all the way through .M22 (the number of clips that there are).
Is this normal for the extensions to be that way or is something wrong with the files?
