Hey everybody, after immense googling, many youtube videos and searching the forums I'm coming to a dead end in my work flow. I'm reaching out here in hopes of some help and hope I don't ask too many repeated questions.
I'm shooting 48fps MLV and my workflow goes as follows:
1)shoot
2)RAW Magic - converts to DNGs
3)Resolve - export to Proxies
4)Premiere - import proxies and interoperate footage to 24p, resize/stretch picture to fit
5)Edit sequence and export XML
6)Resolve - import XML uncheck the box "Automatically Import Files to Media Pool"
7)Manually change 48fps files to 24p in "Clip Atributes"
Now when viewing the sequence in Resolve for color, the clips are in different order, the sizing is wrong, and my nice edit coming from Premiere seems totally out of wack.
Can anyone offer some suggestions or has anyone else had similar troubles? I feel like I've fallen into a Google wormhole, but I would appreciate any links you may suggest also. Thanks in advance!
