General Development / Re: Just got a 500D...
« on: May 23, 2014, 12:32:50 PM »
Hello! I am new at ML forum, but I wanted to say that 500d developing and bringing dream fps and gorgeous headphone monitoring would be surreally great. I understand that 550d and 600d are better but not everyone has that much money and easy access to equipment. I dunno much about programming, but, if I learned VB and some linux commend myself, I could study some programming over here. Just giving a tip - 500d dev further would be awesome!

General Chat / Audio monitoring Canon eos 500d/t1i
« on: April 29, 2014, 12:59:41 PM »
Hello everyone!
I have got all the right cables and I can listen to sound in playback mode, but it is impossible to hear anything at real time recording or standby mode with AV cable (and wiring, actually, I soldered 3.5mm female output jack) on canon 500D. So I am wondering - is 500d's ML made for monitoring audio?

Hoping for any answers..

General Help Q&A / 500d - audio, raw, video, fps
« on: April 29, 2014, 12:32:03 PM »
I have been using ml for almost year and finally decided to test out nightly builds, audio monitoring and crazy fps override on eos 500d/t1i.
And I have got a question - is it possible to monitor real life audio with av cable and extra wires and headphones? I can only hear sound when playing back the video that is recorded.
And another one - have anyone got any luck increasing 1080p video's framerate to 24fps atleast? :)
And, excuse me, how is it possible to record RAW video with 500d?

Hopefully, this topic will be seen and continued.

P.S. I made topic subject because I saw no 500d topics here. Hopefully, I posted this thing in right place. :)
