Hi Sorry I didn't replay sooner.

Camera: 5D mk3
Lens: Tamron 24-70 f2.8

I have always used after effects and ACR for my workflow. I see amazing results with DaVinci, but personally I prefer ACR.

Thanks for the kind words Canon eos m

The amount of grain added is purely a matter of personal preference... its neither right or wrong. However, there does seem to be a lot of nasty artifacts, and that can be attributed to having too much grain. The compression process when uploading the file to YouTube or Vimeo can cause this issue for sure!!

I've tested this several times and actually found that I prefer no grain. If you are using the grain to mask the artifacts, then maybe try a noise reduce filter and try to shoot at the lowest ISO possible..

This is beautiful work, great use of composition and natural light, I love the tension created from the camera movement/compostions and sound... I very much look forward to seeing the end result.

I made a  little 1 minute video for my friends who just had a baby!! I made it with the latest build of ML... I was having a few issue with the 17th March copy... but this one is staggeringly stable.

I agree MGerrard, the increase in detail in incredible, but the real trick of RAW for me is what 14bit colour does for you. All those colours help create separation, the focussed subject stands out much more from the scene but more than that, the colour information also increases the sense of depth to the image.

I tried to be objective and look through the eyes of someone who doesnt know him and you are right, he looks bemused by the whole thing...l couldn't stop laughing :D ...

He is actually just a very shy guy who was also very nervous about the ceremony  :D
