resolved.  the hash marks are actually referred to as vertical banding on these forums.  Raw Magic was able to remove the banding.

resolved.  had to use Raw Magic to fix.  Son of Batch also fixed.  Issue first came up in mlRAWviewer.

I had the same issue today.  Hoping for a solution from the boards here, haven't heard anything yet.  Did you find a solution?

I used to stitch files together for .RAW video on here awhile ago, but now that I'm shooting .MLV and using mlrawviewer to create my DNG files, I don't know what to do.

Any file that the card filled up on, will not completely load into mlrawviewer.  All other files are fine.  I couldn't locate a thread for this issue although I'm sure there are plenty of them out there.

Shooting with Hoodman 1000x 64GB cards.  no problems ever.  Just curious how to recover a file that was being recorded as the card filled up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm getting strange hash marks in the bookeh on my video.  I've seen this before in tests but I though it was in the background.  Took the camera into a production environment last weekend and I'm seeing it in the converted video.  My guess is that this is happening in my workflow.  Here is what I've been doing regarding workflow:

Camera: 5D MK III
Lens: 24-70 MK II

REC FROMAT: MLV RAW 2.0
Nightly Build: May 8th, 2014

Card: Hoodman 1000X 64GB

Post Process with MLRAWViewer to DNG, import to Davinci Resolve... problem shows up here.

I'm not sure if I'm missing information that you might need.  Please let me know.  I'm attaching screenshots below.  Thanks!

General Help Q&A / Re: When to Update my Release

It's stopping on dropped frames.  I updated the build to the current release, WOW!  You guys have come a long way.  Thank you.  I still get the drop frame issue, but I'm sure it's the write speed on my card.  I tried the allow drop frame function, but it's a can of worms for sure.   All issues resolved  thank you.

Thank you.  I will look into it.  Also, I have searched the forum to try to find out why I'm getting "Movie Stopped Automatically" error, but I can't find anything that really suggests what I should look into.  Can you recommend a post or thread?

My write speed seems to be around 80 so maybe my 1000X cards don't have enough punch?

Is it recommended to update my nightly build?  I am on ML v2.3.NEXT.2013Aug22.5D3113

If so, which one should I use?

General Help Q&A / When to Update my Release
December 29, 2013, 07:54:31 PM

Hi Guys,

I have a build from several months ago, I am having problems recording clips longer than 1 minute with Lexar 1000x cards.  This was not always the problem, but for some reason, it's not working anymore.  I don't know how to check what build I am on, should I update my nightly build version?

Thanks!
