Hey guys, I finally got the balls to upgrade from the alpha 2 to the latest nightly build and it seems to work like a charm, though I can't seem to find the GOP setting (to allow all-I frames). I did some searching on the forum, but that trail just seems to end. Is it no longer there (or not yet?) or am I looking in the wrong place?

Yep, but for us it's photo only (since it's by shooting RAW).

Personally I don't really care much for RAW. Sure it's great but it adds so much more work, processing power and filesizes. I'm pretty happy just shooting with Flaat on all-I, and would probably only use RAW for some testing fun. If I ever get to do big projects (that would need cinema quality), I'll probably rent a RED anyway. (even when they used 7Ds and 5Ds while shooting Avengers, so it'll be fine xD ).

From what I remember from the vimeo boards the overheating had to do with the Flashcards. I never had the problem though.

First of all, thanks so much for getting ML running on the 7D. I've been waiting for this ever since I got my 7D and it's truly worth the wait.

Anyhow, I found a little hiccup I might mention. When I put my 7D on powersave (through the Info button option) it starts up again after about 15 minutes. I can't imagine this being a big problem though. BTW is there any difference between putting the camera in this ML powersave mode and switching to non-liveview photomode (except for the mirror staying up)?

Also, the analog iso adjustments (like decreasing it below 100) doesn't seem to do anything (it'll indicate it has changed but the image stays the same). Though since that's not on the list at the top of this treat I assume it's not working yet.
