Shooting In jpg only does about 6 seconds then stats shooting regular speed..the goes fast again ? Did I miss somthing? I though I could shoot as long as I want in fps override mode?

Ok I've been researching ML for a while now but still have a few questions before I install :
1.does it slow down normal camera function (be honest I'll buy spare if so )
2. Has there been any bricked camera's (just curious )
3.how do I format card with ml?
4. if accidently erased (what then)
5.downloaded ML on my computer months ago but haven't installed on my camera so how often is it updated? am I still good? And how do i know if it does?
