Thanks a lot Magic Lantern Team, with your work you made my process a lot easier. An important part of any Day-Night-Day (Holy Grail) recordings was the Auto ETTR function and I used it a lot! as well the Intervalometer and the Post-Deflicker.

Through fog, rain, snow and even wind gusts of up to 120 km/h I am happy to have completed this project. Mountain of Valais is by far my most time consuming venture, which at points pushed me to my utter most limits. With 40kg of kit on my back it was not always easy to arrive to my chosen locations. After 15 days of filming in between August and November this year, and as a further four weeks of postproduction the project is finally finished.

This is my newest Northern light video from Norway (8 to 19. February 2013). This time around we were near Alta in Finnmark. There we had a cabin in Kviby from which we started our day trips. In those days we had a lot of aurora activity. It is always fascinating to see these dancing lights, even better if you can share it with someone you love.

The temperature wasn't as cold then last year. Normally it was around -10°C (14F). Only for one shot it was -25°C (-13F) and again I had a frozen lens... like every year...

Some shots were made with my Canon 7D and Magic Lantern on it.

To avoid the old problem with flicker during sunset and sunrise. I tried for my newest video in this scenes the bulb ramping features on my 550D and it worked really well.
