Anyone know how to make Final Cut Pro X recognize or change the FPS value if you have overridden it in ML? I know this IS possible in Adobe Premiere. I shot 720p at 24 fps on my T1i....however Final Cut Pro X insists that it is 30 fps! Any ideas?

Craziest thing...it seems that the motion sensor which switches off the LCD preview off, when taking photographs, is actually sensing when my face is close to the LCD while in movie mode and actually triggering the recording to start! WITHOUT touching it at all! Has this happened to any one else? Sometimes, like outside for example, I might want to cup my hand around the LCD to see it better, and it just triggers the recording every time.

Is it a setting in ML somewhere? A bug...a ghost?

Hello Forum,

I'm new to ML and I am trying to record 720p at 24fps on my T1i, which it seems to do fine. However, as we all know, it does not change the information on the header, so Final Cut still interprets it as 30fps. Has anyone figured out how to work this out? I know that on adobe you can force Premiere to interpret the frame rate any way you wish. Is this simply not an option with Final Cut Pro X?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
