I read an article about the 50D and Magic Lantern some days ago via the Zite app on my iPad. Yesterday I downloaded and installed Magic Lantern, which was very easy and it worked without any problems. It is exciting to see the hidden movie-possibilities of this 5-years old camera! The only issue is, that the camera gets rather warm when using it for video. Only time will tell whether this can cause any damage.
Anyhow, many compliments to all who are involved with this prestigious project! I am happier than ever before owning a 50D!
