Is it possible to take pictures for a timelapse without having the mirror to move between every pictures aka take silent-ish pictures? I noticed mirror lock up has "self timer" as option, what does it mean? I wasn't able to lock the screen. Not even live view.

I highly suggest you download the original video (http://goo.gl/3mTUfz) cause youtube destroys the image quality.

Hello,
I own an old transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC card that on my canon 550d and computer doesn't go over 15-16MB/s in write speed. I was wondering if this new model UHS-1 (good for a future upgrades) has a bump on speeds ALSO for standard SDHC readers (at least 21MB/s to record continuous raw) or if it's always capped at 16MB/s and the speed increase is only for UHS readers.

Hello,
help me understand, we now can get 1080p RAW video from their cameras without putting extra work on the CPU, this means that there's an actual stream created by default by Canon's internal "code". So why in the world don't they use this data to compress videos but instead they do some strange line-skipping?
