Okay - I'm sorry if this has been posted but I don't really understand why we moved away from RAW files (MK2) that worked in premiere to the new MLV filetype which requires a new plugin or much laborious processing of files - As such I've got a watermarked version of Drastic Media Reactor which I'll purchase when I get it working correctly. The MLV system seems poor compared to the old system.

Here is the problem - the footage is coming into premiere very dull and washed out - grading seems tricky to get it back looking as good as it looked in the camera screen. The few LUT's I've tried through Lumetri seem to blow out the image in weird and unpredictable ways.

Is there any simple way to get the footage looking like it does on the camera screen inside premiere please? A single LUT?

I've searched the forums but none seem to deal with the issue of no "file manager" or "file browser" showing up in debug.

Canon 5d Mk 3. ML 2.3

Thank you. Any guidance appreciated.

Okay so I have turned off live view in the camera (photo mode?)
Turned the dial to b.
In ML I activate bulb timer and intervalometer.
If I exit the menu or directly press the shutter : it crashes and freezes the camera.  Taking the battery out is the only way then to make the LCD on the top flashing ERR and reboot.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong.  Earlier I got a couple of warnings about STACK OVERFLOW.

Thanks all.

General Help Q&A / Frame rate in HDR on 5D
April 13, 2013, 07:40:33 PM
Hi there - sorry if this is a newbie question but what frame rate (final display) does HDR run at on the 5d? It seems to me to be running at 12.5 fps (which makes sense given the cameras 30fps ceiling).

Do any of the other ML cameras offer 25fps HDR?

Thanks (and I did google)
