Hey,

I had my KomputerBay 32gb card that I used to play around with RAW video on the 50D. Worked like a charm, no problems at all. Now a week ago I used this card in a 5D Mark 2, with no problems there either, I took some photo's loaded it on my computer using a card reader. Everything went smooth until I wanted to use the CF card back on my 50D. The camera couldn't read the card and couldn't format it... So I putted the CF card in my card reader, to format the card with the computer. No problems there, but the 50D still can't read the CF card, and ask's me to format the card in the camera, even thou it can't format it there.

So after some research I discovered that:
Both camera's run a different OS, so the proper way to use the card back in my 50D is to reformat the card in a 5D mark II. The problem is that I don't have the 5D any more so that's a no go :/

My question is of there is some kind of utility that kind of resets your card to standard factory settings, or an utility that rebuilds the card back in to a standard file structure?

I recreated a scene from Memento, shooting 50D raw. The first time I shot on the 50D 'project based'. I shot mostly some test footage, but always just some shots without any kind of precise framing etc.
