The developers have said on many occasions that they are against money being involved all you have to do is search to see that...

The project needs time, dedication, and people with experience not money.

Start here sounds like it's working as everyone would expect assuming you're trying to shoot full HD sizes

They dont work for money they do it because they love and own the cameras they are hacking... it's for love, not profit.

adaware- Magic Lantern Menu is accessed by pressing the Trashcan button not the Canon Menu System these are basics you would have found by reading up on what you are using... its no more than a page deep in the user manual.

Sounds like the fall to the floor has damaged your shutter mechanism... this is 99.99% chance of mechanical failure, .01% a firmware issue.

A quick search will show you this is asked for often and the answer hasn't changed... it's not currently possible.

You have 500000+ shutter cycles on a shutter ratted for less and still think it's related to Magic Lantern use? Hows that?

Good news 2K announced and releasing soon for all 15 year old cameras!

And It seems that ML is getting less and less updates, is this because the crew is working with apertus?

ML Devs are free to do what ever they want, they do not work for us. The code is open source so if you don't like the frequency of updates it's up to all of us to pickup where they left off.

They owe us nothing...

See reply 358 then follow the link... asking over and over again isn't going to get it built for you. That has stopped because people abused it, now you need to build it for yourself if you want it.

I have a 35mm IS F2 awesome optical quality and great 3/4 stop IS... I'll take Canon over 3rd party any day!

ML 2.3 was 2-3 years old and has been removed from the downloads page.

This point in time it's Nightly Builds or nothing.

But I can't believe that this here is a one man show and if a1ex has other things to do, it breaks. Or am I wrong?

Wrong, it's open to everyone of us to contribute and since it's free a1ex can stop anytime and doesn't owe anyone a reason why...

If you put ML back on the card (making it bootable) does it work?
