I've seen someone who went back to a 20th of Feb build and had no pink frames? I'm going to go with this. Anyone else done this?

itsDPmikey: What nightly are you running with 1.1.3?

I recently noticed some pink/bad frames in some clips a shot a while back and wondering which version you were running. Would also be interested in knowing which nightly you are running Alex, as you say you don't experience this issue?

itsDPmikey, I'm not sure that FPSoverride is the issue, as I was running 25fps Canon menu as well as in the ML settings. When I get a chance I'll run some tests and see what I find.

Is there another thread for this issue yet?

Thanks!

We have Lexar x1066 128GB and 256GB cards. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Could you elaborate what you mean in terms of spanned? Good to know that it is more stable on 1.1.3 as I recently installed that version. I'll have to do some proper tests to be sure though. What advantages does 1.2.3 have, then? HDMI out?

Hey guys

I know I'm messaging in an old thread but I have a question that I'd like clarity on.

Is 1.1.3 best for write speeds with mlv and raw? Including audio? I'm a bit confused if 1.1.3 is better for just raw or mlv as well.

Thanks

Thanks Audionut.

I was running 1.1.3, but seems I forgot to actually put the 1.1.3 file on the card to reinstall ML, derp. Thanks for your help!

Hi guys

I have a what I feel is going to be a rookie problem, let me explain.

I had ML installed on my 6D for a while, worked perfectly and the results were great form RAW. I used a 64GB SanDisk Extreme card. I recently did a shoot on a C100, and I used my memory card, I formatted it in my computer to make sure there were no magic lantern files on the card, then did the shoot with no problems. After that, I formatted the card on my computer again, and put it in my 6D only to have it not turn on. I took the memory card out and tried a different battery, and the camera turned on. After breathing a sigh of relief I formatted the card in camera, then put the ML files back on, and tried to make the card bootable to which I get an error saying it has failed.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I have updated to OSX Yosemite which I feel may be a contributor to the problem.

Any feedback is much appreciated!

Cheers

@Levas

I just tried what you recommended and it hasn't changed the problem. Thanks for the help though! For now I'll stay below ISO1600.

Has anyone else had this problem?

It was recorded at 1536x654 as it says in the video  :)

What do you mean by which settings?

I've only noticed it in RAW video mode at the moment.

I've only just come across this thread now, I posted the video in the 6D thread which may not have been right.

This was my first 6D RAW attempt. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Is anyone having trouble with ISOs above 1600 with the latest 6D build? Anything above 1600 gives me hot pixels. Levas helped me earlier. The sensor clean helped with lower ISOs but as soon as I go over 1600 it get these:

Anyone have similar problems?

Haha, true! In normal video I'd be reasonably happy with ISO6400 but after seeing this in RAW i'm not sure what the limit is.

I shot this today, a quick test:

Not sure if it's appropriate to post videos here? I used the build from last night. Thanks for your help Levas!

Thank you Levas!

This seems to have fixed the problem. Does this mean that I should stay away from ISO3200 and above?

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and have a query that I'd appreciate some help with.
I've attached a framegrab from a 6D RAW clip that has what seem like some large noise spots. Could this be because of the resolution I am recording at? I had it on 1920, but have now changed it to 1536, which I have seen in places to be the best option.
I used raw2dng to convert the files.

Any thoughts?
