I have a 2.4gb file - the last shot of the day - that won't convert using RAWmagic or raw2dng.  The shot filled the card, at which point I got the usual overrun error message from the camera.  Is there any way I can salvage the data?   I'm wondering - are these over-run files always corrupted?

Lexar 1066x 64GB

Just got a Lexar 1066x 64gb card, but I'm not noticing much if any improvement from the 1000x cards I already have.  Should I expect much more?  Should I be formatting it in a specific way (other than just in camera) to get the most from it?

Also, does it make any difference in PAL or NTSC mode?


I'm getting reliable continuous (+30secs) with:
29fps @ 1920x1080
30fps @ 1856x1044
32fps @ 1792x1008
34fps @ 1728x972 (just)
34fps @ 1600x900

Because I'm trying to shoot raw video on my 5D3 with flat cine style....?

I've been struggling with this for a while.  When I try to lift the blacks they turn out very noisy.  I've been importing into After Effects and using the Raw import settings there.

Canon firmware updated to 1.2.3
ML Firmware August 7th build installed
Boots fine

Go to Module menu, select several including Raw.
Reboot camera - nothing has loaded.
Repeat - nothing loads

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have the Lexar 1000x which performs great at 1920x1080 @ 25fps with global draw on.

I get 16 secs before frame skip @ 30fps global draw on, and 30 secs with global draw off.

My question is would I get any significantly better performance with a Lexar 1066x, or is it a limitation of the camera?

Relative newbie here, so please excuse my ignorance.

I've just installed v2.3 of ML, and can't work out how to load the modules.  I scroll down and select the module (say mlv_rec.mo) which then says it will load on next reboot.  I restart the camera, but nothing has happened.

Please advise....!
