How do i keep Magic lantern on my canon 7d camera without having it on the card? Also, if i can't keep it on the camera, what do i do to keep it on the card?

General Help Q&A / What's the current version for magic lanterns plugin for 7D? Should I use it yet

Well I've been hearing alot of news about magic lanterns plugin for the 7D and I have no clue if I should use it. However I am aware of some of the features on it and want to try it. So i guess my question is, "Should I put it on my camera now and keep updating it as it goes or should I just wait for the stable release?"
