i can confirm (there is no raw video ability)  since a recent July 19th build, nice menu though

i saved older builds, i love the 10x zoom

So there is no Raw even on the 5D MK2?

At this point I can't get anything after Alpha 3 to even install on my MkIII.  All appears to go well, I get the "firmware Ver.:1.1.3-ml-v2.3.NEXT" and even get the smiley face below the EnableBootDisk.  But it's just taunting me, because ML is nowhere to be seen.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I have not been able to get Raw out of the 5DII at all.  Can you share your settings, build version etc?

Sorry to horn in on your post, but perhaps you can help me as well. 

First, your problem.  To see if something has changed on your raw files (*.cr2) go to PhaseOne.com and download a trial version of Capture One.  It's what I use for raw file processing.  All the other shooters I know that don't use Capture one use Adobe Lightroom, also available as a trial.  I don't know anyone who relies on ACR.  There has to be some reason. 

If neither of these will open your CR2 files then something is hosing your files.  If that's the case, then try running without ML.

Now...can you help me get to where you are?  I've just bought a 5D MKIII because I thought ML would let me shoot higher than HD rez raw files that were give the 1DC a run for the money.  I can't get any improved video functionality from ML at all.  Can you share how you do it?

No joy here...
Have had luck getting ml-5D3-113.fir to work but have no M Tab or raw functionality that I've found. 
Have tried what I THINK is the most recent nightly build "magiclantern-v2.3.NEXT.2013Jul15 but I'm not certain it even applies to the MKIII is it's not in the ensuing .60D.550D etc.  (it does edit the name of the firmware, but the menus are not available.)
Any idea where to find a build that will provide raw recording on a 5D MKIII?

For me as well.  Just bought spanking new MKIII.  Install is not working.  Mine came with the newest Firmware, 1.2.1.  Thought I'd try it.  It would claim that the firmware update was starting, the screen goes blank then the red light would just blink every so often. 

Also Tried backgrading to Firmware 1.1.3 and still no joy.  It claims the firmware update process is starting seems to do a quick card test, the red light blinks a few times then nothing.....

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
