This may be true, but I only shot twice with raw settings. It's hard to believe that a ton of people aren't having this happen if it's the raw video feature causing the problem. To me it seems the firmware program is corrupt and won't detect the .fir file.

Last video I shot before my camera went out of commission...

- "Real world" testing.
- Shot at 1880 x 1080
- Up-converted to 1080p
- ISO 640 - 1250
- Did a little too much sharpening in Photoshop*
- Graded in a color-reversal style
- Used a 600x card so I had about 4 secs per clip before it would stop recording/drop frames.

Yes, that was one of the first things I tried, still nothing. I need to figure it out something ASAP, as I need the camera for work.

How long? I read someone left it out for 1day 1/2 and it was fine. I just tried it now, it's been out for 12 hours, but still no luck.

I put in a non-ML formatted card and started getting crazy glitches and no live view.

- I tried reverting back to original canon firmware(s) but the camera no longer detects and .fir files on the CF card.
- I tried different CF cards.
- Magic Lantern does not boot anymore.
- "Update file cannot be found. Please check the memory card and reload the battery and try again." is what i get every time I try to install any firmware.
- Also get a busy warning on the camera if I put into different modes like full-auto.

Last time it my camera was working I used:
- ML nightly build May 19, 2013
- Raw camera Module

Does anyone know what I should try next?

I keep getting this message, every time I try installing the new firmware.

"Update file cannot be found. Please check the memory card and reload the battery and try again."

I originally had the magic lantern raw module and used another card without ML on it and the camera has been messed every since. There are purple bars and no live-view access.

Hey guys, here's my first test video. Has anybody had corrupt raw files that won't convert to DNG? I shot 20 clips and 3 of them won't open. I think there is less moiré / aliasing with raw. Lots of bricks, details and patterns.
