Are you sure it has to be RGB color mode?

The tutorial says "Before saving it as BMP you need to convert it to "Indexed Color" mode: Select from Image->Mode menu "Indexed Color"" ... if i choose RGB i loose "Indexed Color" ...

Hi. First of all, thank you for Magic Lantern !!! I use for almost one year on T2i, T3i, and now i'm waiting for use it on a T4i.

I will try to explain the feature with two examples.
I think it's not developed or already on this forum ("Feature Request").
Sorry for my english, spanish is my natural language.

Example 1.
I want to take a shot, a long exposure shot, using a neutral density filter, with 10 f-stops.
Some of this long exposure shots takes more than one minute. I want a person on the shot. The problem is that the person cant stand still for one minute ...
I would like to tell the camera to take 2 shots. The first with the long exposure and the second, without the filter with normal exposure. If i touch the camera using the menus, i may move the camera, and then both shots may be difficult to blend in post.
How i "tell the camera" the setting to take the two shots?
Maybe this could be the process: dial M, set fstop, shutter speed, ev and iso.  Then on some part of the ML menu, i press some button and the camera saves this four paramaters.
After this, following the example, adjust the setting (shutter speed on this example), anda again on the menu, press some button to save this four parameters (shutter speed, fstop, ev, ISO).
The final step is take the shots: the camera take four parameters saved, take the first shot, take the next four parameters, and take the second shot.

Example 2
I like macro photography, for example take shots of flowers.
One of the problems in macro photography is DOF.
Sometimes i take 3 or 4 or more shots, all with the same ISO and ev, but different fstop and shutter speed. The idea is to have variable aperture, because to really check which aperture works best (best detail in the flower and best blur on the background) sometimes the LCD display is not enough; sometimes to choose the best shot, i need to use my notebook or a big display. If i can take a serie of shots, with differents fstop (and of course shutter speed), then in post i will be shure on of the shoot will be fine.
This could be done very similar to example 1. Dial on M or AV, set the four parameters and save them using the ML menu. Next, set the following four parameters, save them using the ML menu, and so on. When finished, the camera will take a serie of shots, with every four parameters saved.

I red the user guide and looks like it is not implemented ...

Thank you !!

PS: may be the first example is not the best, because i have to remove the filter between the first and second shot ... may be the camera can make a pause between shots ...
