Thank you for the post.  I didn't know the difference until the end. I was wondering if you can split screen the footage?

Turn on the global view and make sure zebra is on.  Then when you are taking a time lapse if the live view shows red spots you need to ISO up or stop Down the F/stop, both to let more light in.
