Hi there.

I am using a friends 60d to be the third camera shooting a concert. If I use the magic lantern software will it allow me to film for how much longer than 29 minutes? Will it overheat and shutdown after a long period?

Ive looked all over the menu and cannot find how to adjust the bit-rate. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a canon 10-22 lens and it was dropped attached to the camera onto a rock pool. The assistant was trying to put it back into one of those small camera bags and didn't do the buckle up properly and it fell out and hit the rock! the 550d suffered water ingress and died. The lens hit the rock with the hood on(which stopped it being scratched) but the sudden force of the impact damaged it. The lens now wobbles a bit but works perfectly! I have been using it for photos and video for 6months (professionally)so far with no problems. Oh by the way the 550d my friend lent me back then was put into his cupboard and I asked him if I could have it a month ago and he said yes since it did not work. Can you believe when I took it home to look at it it fired up fine and has been working perfectly since!

The 'A' is in front of the ISO(why is it A?)
I checked and discovered i was in auto exposure in movie mode. This obviously changed when I reset all my settings.

I also notice in the picture tutorials that the cat has yellow dots for focus rather than my red dots. Is this because of the new upgrade?

When I push the Q button it goes back to the canon display so I cant then use the arrow keys to select adjustable settings.
When I press the Av button I can adjust the shutter speed( by the way why does it have A in front of the speed?)

How do I adjust the aperture in video mode on 550d?
