I have Magic Lantern 2.3 but in Overlay there is no "Global Draw." I have a Canon Rebel T3i. Is there a way to recover that option? (After using Magic Lantern for over a year I am trying to fine tune.)

Thank you, Ayshih. It appears that I had "sticky half-shutter" set to ON. Once set to off, the problem is gone.

I am shooting with a Canon Rebel t3i. I seem to have done something to my Magic Lantern settings so that now, when in live mode, when I press the trigger half-way down the camera shows an "HS" in a red box on the upper right of the screen. When I take the picture, the camera re-searches for correct exposure. If I then press the trigger half-way down again, and release, the camera returns to normal viewing operation. Otherwise, if I take a second shot, the camera then returns to normal viewing.

I tried replacing my Magic Lantern doctored memory card with a clean one. No HS problems. So this HS is coming from something I did, or else some corruption.

Does anyone recognize the symptoms and have a cure? From FAQ I found how to reset all Magic Lantern settings, but I would much prefer to simply cure this one glitch without starting all over.

I have searched the user guide and FAQ about "HS" for an answer to no avail.

In Overlay/Spotmeter, we have a small set of choices. I'd love to add: Zone System. This would work only in full manual mode, of course, since in any auto or semi-auto mode the meter tries to expose to Zone V. For those of us who use the Zone System, it would be great to be able to place the center on a target and see into which Zone that target would fall given the current f/stop and shutter speed.

Somewhere on this forum there was some discussion about using DSLR controller to display the LCD info on a separate Android device such as the Nexus Tablet. I had found with ML installed it wouldn't work and wrote about that. But it turns out the problem was the cable. ML and DSLR controller work just fine together on a Canon T3i.

I could not get DSLR controller to work with ML installed. Bummer.

ML seems to lock out the preset white balance Canon settings in video mode (sunny, shade, etc.) I can access them in still mode, but not movie. While it's preferable to manually white balance, it's not always possible due to time pressures, and those Canon presets are very handy. If possible, please make it so that ML offers as an option the Canon presets.

I have searched everywhere to no avail: there seems to be no way to change the cm and meter settings into inches and feet. For we who use such measurements, it would be a wonderful option.
