Really? Have you actually gotten the camera to create a file > 4GB? I thought creating movies > 10min is possible with lower bitrates but creating larger files- I have not managed that so far.

Thanks Maarten. I think this this could prove to be very useful. It only uses open source tools, should be portable and is completely automized (except for maybe setting proper in/out resolutions and codec requirements). I cannot test this right now but I hope I will at the end of the week.

i.e. limit=50 would give you 50 items. Is this sufficient for you or do you want me to change it globally?

I like the camera strap idea, but it would obviously have to be something of pro quality, otherwise I'd rather not bet my 5d2 on it. I'd prefer a version with clips.
