I have the similar problem with 5D Mark ii.
The crash log shows:
ASSERT: FALSE
at BurstMgr.c:172, task RscMgr
lv:0 mode:0
Magic Lantern version : Nightly.2015Aug19.5D2212
Mercurial changeset : 8d48d164e83a (unified) tip
Built on 2015-08-18 22:10:02 UTC by [email protected].
Free Memory : 128K + 4257K
and the my log file is under this link:
allegro.ventis.com.pl/log003.log
I read about this error on another topic with canon 60D, and there is possibility to clear camera settings but you need modified autoexec.bin with assertions disabled.
Could somebody send us a modified autoexec.bin (with disabled assertions) for canon 5D Mark ii to try this solution.

I tried to compile ML by myself but I failed during installing tools for compilation.
I will be grateful for any help.
