On the move.when you are in C mode and got the menu did you tried format card to remove ML or just dowmnoad firmware and copy to sd card and go to firmware update and should be fine after.Let me know what is happened.I had same error on 550D and with NKremote software I connected that camera and I changed size of the picture after worked fine .try update or connect with pc and change settings .

Anyone can help me out for a test?
I got a 60d and got a logic board which have error 70.Sometimes works in C mode and I changed setting etc but I'm not able no delete setting as say change to different mode.
So I want to upgrade firmware but it says card protected but I think memory card unit has same problame.So before I order anyone can confirm for me I can update canon firmware in C mode?
This logic board came from ebay and I fixed other cameras with error 70 just connected to remote software.
Please somebody can test me so I don't have to order memory unit from usa if i can't install.
