hi all,

i've installed Magic Lantern to 5D mark III.

it looks like it's adding some sort of  letterbox to the top of my frame...not sure if this is an ML issue or something going on with my monitor (ikan D5).

does anybody know how to remove it, so i can see full frame in monitor? please see before after picts. below.

hi,

my three year old decided to help me clean by sweeping my camera off the couch...

when i turned camera on to check, screen showed pixels (in peaking mode) everywhere,
not just area of focus.  eventually, a couple dead pixels appeared on screen, which i was
able to fix via mapping.

if i disable peaking, it seems to be fine...but clearly something is wrong.

i'm planning on bringing camera to canon to get fixed...does anybody have any idea of
what part of camera might have been damaged/needs to be looked at?  i don't really
want to show ML pixel situation to canon rep.  but i'd like to be able to tell him what
part of camera might need assessing.

thanks.

hi all,

recently installed ML and see that the top info bar slightly encroaches into picture frame and bottom bar is
completely in frame. is there a way to move the bars so that they are above/below picture frame?

thanks for all suggestions.

hi all,

i haven't installed ML on mark III yet...i have a question before doing so. right now, i'm primarily interested in having it on camera for audio level feature, but don't necessarily want to shoot RAW.

can i still shoot in factory 1080.24 format, while using audio levels from ML?

thanks.
