Looking out to solve the Scripts Dir Missing Error

Is this the reason for live view freezing while pressing record?
No images are recorded on the card.
I m using a 7D.

Do you guys have any insight on this?

p.s I have tried changing False Colour to SmallHD with no effect on the frozen live view.

can you post details on how to reproduce that error?
here on my 7D everything works fine.

I followed the steps one by one!

well, i didnt want to install ML, but to hear from you what i have to do on the 7D to reproduce the error.

from what you wrote, i can just read "camera does freeze when pushing rec and no images are taken"

I turn the camera on, and immediately i get the message 'Scripts dir missing' shown on the live view.
As far as the freezing of the live view, after I select resolution size in the raw video menu, the image freezes and won't update, until I turn off the camera.

where do you have the ML binary from?
